• Chapter 4 - Curiosity •

[November 3, 2020 - Thursday - 3:00PM]

Right now, were in the middle of practice. I'm obviously having fun. Kiyoko-san was trying her best to look 'normal', I'm not actually sure if she hates me or maybe she's embarrassed? I don't know-- but then, Takeda-sensei came in the gym.

"G-G-G-GUYS!! Guys. I have qualified you again to a practice match."

He said as he was desperately catching his breath from running.

"Oh, sensei. What school is it?"

Coach Ukai responded.

"Yeah! I'm super excited! Who is it sensei?!"

Noya-san added.

"Uh-- Johzenji!"

At the moment Takeda-sensei said that, I instantly remembered what happened a few days ago.

..And I'm sure Kiyoko-san also did.

I glanced at her just enough to see her look away from me.

"Aah them! I really wanna play with them again!"

Tanaka-san said.

"Oh. Terushima-kun. Let's see what plays he'll do next.."

Daichi-san slightly relaxes and gets excited.

"Oh great, now we're gonna play a team with a bunch of Hinata-s in it.."

Stingyshima mockingly said.

"H-Hey!"

Of course I was offended. He started it!

"Well, Tsukki's got a point. You have so much in common with them."

Yamaguchi supported his insult.

"Wait, really?"

"Well, their stamina and maybe the personality..?"

Sugamama said.

"Hmph.."

"Well, you heard him boys! Get practicing if ya want to win over them again."

Coach Ukai once again, motivated us in practicing.

"Hai!"

After some time, the Johzenji team went inside the gym.

"Thank you for having us!"

They yelled through the front door, which caught us off guarded.

"Oh! They're here. Let's greet them."

Our captain ordered.

As I walked over to greet them, I noticed Shimizu-senpai ignoring them and speaking with Yachi instead. I think she didn't want to make eye contact with him whatsoever.

I also remembered the 'boyfriend lie' which also resulted in me not making eye contact with Terushima-san. I guess I was too embarrassed.

(W-What if he t-told everyone that I'm Shimizu-senpai'd b-b-boyfriend? What if he asked how we met in front of every body..? What if Tanaka-san and Noya-san get angry at me?!

What if--)

Yes, I was VERY worried at the moment. But Terushima-san was distracted by the outcome of the volleyball matches. So I guess I was fine.
