- Y/N's POV -

The sound of crashing waves and the sea breeze hit your ears. The breeze was freezing but it didn't matter, you had your warmth beside you. Choi Beomgyu. The man of every girl's dreams, and luckily you were his. You and Beomgyu were walking beside each other, hand in hand. His hand provided you enough warmth. You two stopped walking and and sat on a swing. He sat beside you and leaned his head on your shoulder. He turned to you and flashed a smile before leaning again.

"The sunset's pretty isn't it?" You questioned as you stroked his brown curly hair. "Yeah..." he paused for a second. "But not as pretty as you..." he smiled at you and winked. Your eyes widened as you heard his statement. He chuckled in return and started humming a song. You were so flustered by what he said earlier. You stared at the waves in awe as you listened to Beomgyu sing.

This night when the stars are also asleep
별들도 잠에 든 이 밤

This familiar and unfamiliar river
익숙하고 낯선 이 강

Crossing the gray city
잿빛의 도시를 넘어가

But your smile disappeared in an instant, when Beomgyu said something unexpected. "I think we'd make beautiful babies-" making you hit him hard on the head. "Yah!" you shouted. He rubbed his head with a teasing face. "Chill. I was just sharing my opinions-" he said as he widened his eyes and moved his face closer to yours. All you wanted to do right now was to strangle him. You pushed him aside and gathered your confidence to say this "Yeah, I think so..." he grinned at what you said. "I'd definitely have beautiful kids with Taehyung~" You said in a dreamy tone and clasped your hands. This made his smile dropped. "Yah! Y/N L/N!" he shouted at you making you laugh. "Why'd you date me then?!" You kept laughing at his reaction. Suddenly Beomgyu kneeled down on the ground, You stood up from the swing and you weren't prepared for what was about to happen next.

Choi Beomgyu, your boyfriend for almost 4 years, the one who was always there for you, the one who understands and accepts you for who you are. Is kneeling down infront of you with a red velvet box in his hands. You covered your mouth as tears started brimming in your eyes. He looked up at you with his innocent, dark brown orbs.

"Beomgyu-"

"Y/N-"

you both said to each other. You can't say anything, no words left your mouth, even though you try to say something.

"Y/N, you're the light to my darkness, the piece that completes me, The reason why I'm excited to live another day, The reason I'd always wake up with a smile on my face." He stared at you with sympathy in his eyes.

"Beomgyu-" you said his name.

"Y/N, will you marry me?" he asked and you could see the nervousness in his eyes. You stared down at Beomgyu in shock.

"Yes, Beomgyu-" you answered, he stood up and put the diamond ring in your ring finger, and hugged you so tight. Tears started streaming down your cheeks, you hugged him tightly too.

Beomgyu kissed your forehead and whispered "I love you."

"I love you, too."
