Coffee Royale

Today is the day.

I finally get to return her umbrella.

After saying my morning prayer, I made my way downstairs to go to my home gym, I wanted to exercise since I have a lot of time to spare. After my workout, I showered and changed into my work attire;  a Prussian blue tailored blazer, a collared long-sleeved white cotton button-up shirt, slacks, and black leather shoes. 

I made myself breakfast, brushed my teeth, and grabbed my car keys, and went to the car.

Oh, wait.

I forgot something.

The umbrella.

I ran back inside and got the umbrella near the door. I went to my car, started its engine, and drove my way to work.

I arrived at the building and was welcomed by the massive number of people that were inside. Some applicants looked as if their faces were washed out. There were men and women in suits and work decorum pacing back and forth. I went to the elevator and pressed the top floor. I reached the top floor and walked my way to the office and as usual, Alex greeted me.

"Good morning, Sir!" Alex greeted me with a  cheerful smile.

"Good morning, Alex!" I greeted him back with a smile and went inside the office.

I decided to finish reading and signing the new documents and papers the different departments gave.

Later on, I heard a knock on my office door.

"Come in!"

"Good morning, sir! Here are the photos from the shoot." Gayl said and handed over a long brown envelope.

"Ah, yes, thank you! Please sit down." I thanked her and pointed at the seat across me for her to sit down.

She sat down with her hands intertwined and I opened the envelope.

I checked all the photos eighteen inside, there were three photos for each piece. I'm sure that there were much more photos but the photography team probably chose the top three photos for each. These photos will be released to the public by next week so they will be seen on billboards, magazines, and the like.

The photos were oozing with allure and class, just like our company motto. All the photos brought out the unique characteristic each piece had. I smiled and my eyes glimmered while viewing the photos. The photography, hair, and make-up team, and the models did a great job. Their hard work and determination were evident in the output.

"These are perfect! Congratulations! Make sure to release these next week." I smiled and stood up, she did the same, and I extended my right arm and shook her hand to congratulate her.

"Thank you, sir!" She said and flashed a thankful smile, she carried the envelope with her and left.

The clock struck at 12 and it was lunchtime. I head out of my office and went to Alex to ask if he would like to join me for lunch.

"Alex!" I exclaimed and waved my arm to grab his attention, it looked like he just finished talking to an employee.

"Sir!" He waved his arm back and walked closer to me.

"Let's grab lunch?" I offered.

"Ah, sige po. Kunin ko lang po bag ko." I nodded and he went to the work station, just in front of mine to get his bag. We walked to the parking lot and entered my car and I drove to a Japanese restaurant.
