Night eventually turned to early day, and Awsten was passed out in a chair in the corner of the room. Jawn and Geoff, however, were sitting in the middle of the floor, lost in conversation.
"So, you never answered my question from earlier," Jawn brought up. Geoff looked to him with a confused expression. "What do you think of Awsten?"
"Well, what did you say he thought of me earlier? I'm sorry, I don't really remember," Geoff asked.
"No biggie. He says you're really sweet and nice and he always wants to be around you and stuff. He brings up your voice a lot, too. There's probably more but I can't think, too tired." Jawn shrugged.
Geoff sat in thought for a brief moment.
"I mean, I always want to be around him, too. He's probably the best person I ever met. I just feel so comfortable around him. No one's ever really been there for me like he has, at least recently," Geoff explained. Jawn nodded.
"That's understandable. I mean, not a lot of people have heard you talk until you two became friends. Seriously, it's like he's some sort of missing half for you," Jawn chuckled.
"Maybe, I don't know," Geoff chuckled softly. Jawn began to talk more about himself, but Geoff's thoughts drove back to Awsten.
Awsten. His eyes. Awsten's eyes were the prettiest Geoff had ever seen. They made him feel safe and welcome. How his eyes were two different colors. They were the coolest thing ever to Geoff. His smile. His smile could light up any situation. It was almost contagious. His personality and how outgoing and carefree he was. It seemed like the boy never had a bad day in his life.
"Hello? You still awake?"
Geoff squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head, face reddening. "Yeah, sorry," he mumbled, "I was just thinking."
"About what?" Jawn asked, eyes moving to Awsten with a small grin.
"Just stuff. You know, life," Geoff said. Jawn didn't buy it.
"Do you have your eye on someone or something?" Jawn teased, nudging him slightly with his elbow. Geoff rolled his eyes.
"The only people I've had actual conversations with are you, Aws, and Otto," he stated.
"Hey, I never said it couldn't be someone you talk to." Jawn grinned, looking to Awsten. Geoff sighed
"I don't have a crush on Awsten," he said.
"You never know," Jawn said, his voice trailing off.
Geoff shook his head and leaned against the bed, waiting for Jawn to start another conversation. However, he didn't say a word.
After waiting some time, Geoff came to the conclusion that Jawn had finally gone to sleep, so he took this opportunity to get himself some sleep as well.

"Bye Jawn!" Awsten waved to the red-haired boy who was leaving the house.
"Bye Aws, bye Geoff!" Jawn waved back as he walked away.
Awsten smiled before turning to face the waving boy by his side. "So, did you and Jawn get to know each other a bit?"
"Yeah, actually," Geoff nodded, "he seems pretty nice.
"Really? That's good. Jawn and I have known for each other for as long as I can remember. We're tight," Awsten said. Geoff smiled and nodded. "Oh, yeah, do you want me to walk you home? I could totally do that if you want," Awsten offered."
