Babysitter Ratchet

Hey! It's time for another chapter.

Sideswipe P.O.V

I'm so hungry! I cry and cry, trying to get someone's attention. As I almost gave up hope, Sunstreaker came rushing in. "Aww what's the matter Sideswipe?" He cooed as he picked me up gently. He bounced me a little while rocking me back and forth. Even though he tried to get me to calm down, I did not give up my cries. "Shhh, don't cry please. Your okay." He said as he still tried to calm me down. I still did not give up my struggles. To show him that I would not stop crying anytime soon, I screamed louder and sobbed. Sunstreaker was now close to losing his mind. "Oh Primus... I guess I will have to take you to Ratchet." He said as he started walking to the medbay. It took us a minute to get there. We had to walk down the empty halls of the Ark, which was not that fun. I was still crying and Sunstreaker knocked on the medbay doors. I heard a big crash that came from behind the doors and then they opened. There, standing in the doorway, was Ratchet. He looked more tired than ever. "Why did you bring a crying sparkling to the medbay in the middle of the night?" He said in a grumpy tone. Sunstreaker stalled his answer for a moment, then he took a deep breath. "Can you please watch him. Please!" Sunstreaker begged Ratchet. Ratchet just sighed. "Fine, but you will own me later." He said as he took me into me into his arms. "Now get!" With that Sunstreaker was off to his berth and went down the hall and finally I could not see him anymore. I was still brawling in Ratchets arms as he carried me into the medbay and then set me down on a berth. "Now let's see what's wrong with you little one." Ratchet said gently, but instead of feeling soothed, I felt like running for my life if I could walk at all. I just kept brawling and hoping that Ratchet would understand that I am hungry. For some reason and as soon as I thought that, Ratchet seemed to catch on on what I was crying about. "I think your hungry. Stupid brother of yours never knew how to take care of a sparkling or even his own brother." Ratchet said as he shook his helm back and forth and then went to make me food. I just kept crying as loud as I could so I could tell Ratchet to hurry up with that energon. "Alright alright! Just calm down I am getting your energon." Ratchet said as he finished the energon and walked over to me. Before he gave me the energon, he wrapped me ina thermal blanket for some unknown reasons and then rested me into the crook of his arm. He held the
I bottle up and I immediately grabbed for it. Ratchet chuckled at my cuteness. "Well you sure are hungry." He said as he brought the bottle closer to my mouth. As soon as it was close enough that I could grab it, I yanked it down and sucked on it like it would be the last meal I would ever get to eat. "Easy there sparkling just eat it slow." Ratchet said as he pulled the bottle away, much to my disappointment. I immediately tried to grab the bottle again, making grabbing motions with my little servos at the bottle. Ratchet rolled his eyes and brought the bottle back down and placed it into my mouth. I sucked on it again, but ate it a little slower. I made myself comfortable in Ratchet's arms and kept sucking on the warm bottle as it filled my belly. When the bottle was empty, Ratchet took it out of my mouth and brought me up to his shoulder and started to pat my back in a gentle but firm pattern. Feeling a bubbly feeling down deep within my tanks and now feeling it rising up my throat, I gave out a burp. Wasn't that loud or big, but made me feel a lot better. Still wrapped in the thermal blanket that kept me warm, I felt sleepy. My optics we're getting so hard to keep open. I was so tired I hadn't noticed that I was back down into Ratchet's arms. Ratchet smiled at me when I looked up at him with sleepy optics. To tired to think anything about it I slept.

Ratchet smiled at the little sparkling that slept in his arms. It was so cute. To think it was Sideswipe that could be so cute. He sighed and thought of when the twins were merely younglings. They were abandoned in an ally way, about dead from starvation. Sunstreaker was almost in stasis and Sideswipe had been in stasis lock for days. They were found by some of the Autobots patrol bots on patrol that day. When they were brought to the medbay he was shocked at the state that they were in. Sunstreaker made it, but Sideswipe almost died from energon loss and starvation. Ratchet stopped thinking about that past events when he felt Sideswipe squirming and squeaking in his arms. The sparkling was not awake, but looked like it was having a bad dream. He moved the sparkling into the crook of his arm again and started to stroke his little helm and horns. Sideswipe calmed down and stopped squirming. Ratchet smiled and tucked the sparkling back into the thermal blanket that covered his body. He sighed once more, thinking about what would happen if the Decepticons found out that there was a sparkling in the Ark. "What are we gonna do? If we don't get you back to normal soon then I don't want to think about what will happen. The sooner we get you back to an adult, the sooner you are out of danger." Ratchet said to the sparkling in his arms. The sparkling, which was in recharge, obviously did not hear him. Ratchet loved the twins with all of his spark and it almost kills him to see them injured, but they are nitwits. Ratchet got out of his thoughts and went to his berth with Sideswipe at hand. Laying down with the sparkling in his arms and fell into recharge along with the sparkling.
