Once in a lifetime, there is something that happens that will change the course of your life. I wasn't sure if it had already happened, or if I was still waiting for it, but I did know that my life was already ruined regardless.
It was on a dull, cloudy winter morning when my sister practically busted my bedroom door down in excitement. I opened one eye and squinted it at Scarlett.
"What the hell..." I started.
"One Direction!!" She screeched. I grabbed my pillow and put it over my head. "Don't talk to me."
She grabbed my pillow and flung it across the room, smashing it into my bookshelves.
"Hey!"
"Dude. Dude. One-Dee is coming here. I have backstage passes for both of us. Please come," she begged.
"What is One-Dee, exactly?" I asked.
Scarlett scoffed. "What planet do you live on? They're only the most famous boy band in the world. No biggie." She said sarcastically.
"Oh."
"Yeah, oh."
"They sound like idiots."
Scarlett gasped.
"So when are they coming?" I asked.
"Next Friday. I'm so excited!" She started jumping up and down. "Come on, I'll make breakfast!" She shouted, already running down the hall.
I groaned and slid back under my covers.
