Xander's PVO"Well I guess I know who'll be my biology teacher" I said with a wink. This girl, she was something else. Something special. I watched as she sat down, she didn't give me a second glance. I was a little disappointed, I'll admit.
"On Monday morning next weak we will be writting a test based on this topic. As you've clearly seen Miss Blaze is well informed..." I glanced over to "Miss Blaze" who's eyes were glued to the teacher. "...if you have any questions ask her or directly come to me" after the teacher was done speaking she started to pack her things then a bell rang.
"Hi, I'm Blake" a preppy girl with strawberry blonde hair spoke, "And this is Andis" she gestured to the girl with ginger hair who waved, "and that's Tasha" the girl waved.
"Hey" I said glancing over at my mystery girl who was walking away.
"You're like Italian right" Andis asked.
"Yeah" I stood up from my chair. "Wait!"
"For what" Andis asked confused.
"Wait!" I yelled out again but didn't get her attention. "What's that girl's name?"
"Who" all of them said in sink and turned around, "ugh you mean Ira" Blake said with blatant disgust I ignored it because I just had to get to Ira.
"Ahh... Ira!" I walked past the girls, I saw Ira stopped and turned to look at me then ran. I was very confused. I ran after her, I stood by the door to check which direction she ran off to.
Slam!
My eyes instantly searched for the source of the sound. My fists tightened at the sides of me and anger arose inside of me.
Et conteram eum! ( I'll break him!) No one will dare to hurt Ira in my presence, no one!
I walked straight towards the football jersey wearing brut who slamed my Ira into a fucking locker. I was going to beat up this douchebag till he was black and blue all over. I could definitely hold up my ownn in a fight, my father always made sure of it. His deragatory comment sent me over the edge, I opened my mouth to call him out on it then I saw her. All that anger and rage was replaced by concern.
As I walked past the laughing idiots I sent a snarl their way.
"Ira" I knelt beside her, "are you okay?" My voice riddled with concerned.
She looked up at me with those beautiful eyes of hers, "I'm...fine. It's nothing I'm not used to" anger ignited within me again. Angry at myself that I wasn't here to protect her all this while.
"You don't ever have to endure that sort of treatment from anyone ever again" I promised.
"What?"she bitterly laughed. "You'll protect me! Cool it down buster you just got here"
"That's not what I meant. You don't have to tolerate that treatment from guys like him. You have the power to stop it any time and yet you refuse to do so, hearing that's it's been going on for a while now. You let yourself become the victim, like you did right now" she didn't respond but lowered her head.
I sat down beside her, there was silence which seemed to last forever.
"Why are you here" she finally spoke without looking at me.
"You're the only person I know in this school" I shrugged.
"Uh..."she nodded. "So you kill people for sport?"
"No" I rubbed the back of my neck and nervously laughed.
"Then?" She finally looked up at me, "why do you do it?"
"Father runs this... multinational business and sometimes-" she cut me off.
"Sometimes he sends his own son to take care of the people who cross him?"her eyes were big and tinted with curiosity.
Venerandum. ( adorable)
I smiled, "Not exactly, he just wants me to get my hands bloody - I mean dirty, to get a feel for what it'll be like to run the business as I'm expected to take over once he retires"
"Expected? So you have no choice in the matter?"
"It's something I must do, to continue the family name"
"What sort of business is your father involved in?"
"Production, import, export that sorta thing" I said vaguely. She slightly narrowed her eyes at me.
"Okay, I'll take your word for it. Leandro" with the way she said my name I knew she wasn't satisfied with my response to her question, frankly neither was i.
"So your name's Ira, I did say you didn't look like an Emma." I smirked at the fact that I was right. "Ira is quite an uncommon name, I don't think I've ever come across anyone named Ira"
"Well now you have" she smiled, her eyes almost closing in the action.
"It's not English right?"
"Yeah, it's Latin. It means wrath. You know, one of the seven deadly sins of men."
"Do you personify your name? "
"No" she responded looking down.
"Who hurt you?" I instantly regretted asking that question in such a direct manner, but I was curious. Even though she hid it from the world I could still see that something or someone did a number on her.
She sighed, "me" she said then stood up, I stood up too. "I'm sorry, but I'm not what you're looking for" she said then tried to walk away from me but I blocked her.
"What am I looking for?" I lifted her chin up so I could see those beautiful eyes.
"I...i don't know" she spoke softly
"Then how do you know you're not what I'm looking for?" I said with a warm smile. My eyes lowered to her soft lips, I wanted to kiss her so badly. Earlier in the car I had lost control and I couldn't afford to do that again as I might scare her away.
She slowly parted her lips, it's as if she was teasing me. "I..." She breathe out.
"Si..." I cupped her cheek.
She bit her lower lip, then gave me those puppy eyes. "I don't know what to say-"
Fuck it!
I places my arm around her waist, pulled her closer to me then kissed her. God her lips were soft, so sweet and so perfect. She didn't try to resist like before, she just gave in.
I have to have her. No. She's already mine.
I staked by claim.
She slowly pulled away, her cheeks a soft shade of red. I tucked her hair behind her ears, it kept getting in her face and hiding her from me. She blushed away looking down.
"Vos es meus es a me principessa, et non potest salvum facere" ( you're mine princess and no one can save you from me) i whispered making her look up at me.
This was going to be difficult, maintaining control while having her around me.
