Chapter 1

As Ozge Torer walked out her car, she breathed in the natural scent of the forest. It was her first day on the set of Kurulus Osman, and she was very excited. She couldn't wait to start her acting career, with some of the biggest celebrities in the industry. She was going to work with the best, and was excited. It wasn't everyday that you found out that you are going to work with your favourite stars. 

She was led to an office type room, which was labelled, 'Mehmet Bozdag'. She knocked, then entered, seeing two men sat side by side. She recognised them to be Mehmet Bozdag and Metin Gunay, the producers and directors of Dirilis Ertugrul, and now Kurulus Osman. 'Welcome, Ozge, kizim. So you are the angel going to play Bala Hatun. How do you feel starting with such a big project?' 'I'm very happy, and to start off with such big actors will give me the best experience. Acting as a part of history will be difficult, but it will be fun.'

 They heard a knock at the door. Ozge twisted in her seat to see Burak Ozcivit, in the flesh. 'Welcome, Burak oglum. This is Ozge Torer, who will play your character's wife, Bala Hatun.' Burak wasn't paying attention, as he was staring intently at the woman. He had read the first script a few days ago, and realised that the description of Bala was clearly inspired by Ozge. She had thick, black eyebrows, and full pink lips. But what caught his eyes, where her freckles. They were like stars on her pale face. He snapped back to reality, as she stood in front of him, with her hand out. He shook her hand, which was surprisingly soft. Burak immediately let go, and looked down.

Even though Burak was 36, he hadn't remarried because he hadn't found the right person, after he broke his marriage with model and actress Fahriye Evcen. He hadn't really loved her, but when she found someone else, she immediately told him of her feelings. They decided to break it off, and were now good friends. 

Ozge was only 22, and not married. She always thought that she'd wait until she was older, maybe 26, 27. She had her fair share of crushes, but not really on Burak. Sure, he was handsome, with chocolate brown eyes, and a perfect smile, but she knew she'd never be in his lane.

They were all called to their seperate changing rooms, where Ozge saw a black nun's dress. In there, was a woman, who went by the name Emel Dede. She quickly found out that she was to play Gonca Hatun, Bala's best friend. They changed into the black dresses, and got their makeup done. Not much was needed for either of them, as Gonca didn't have any special features that Emel needed adding, and Bala was based of Ozge, so she was perfect. 

The women weren't needed for at least 2 hours, as they filmed a fight scene, so they both went to meet some other actors. They met the famous Nurettin Sonmez, who played Bamsi Beyrek, and spoke silly jokes. The women laughed politely, before Nurettin was called to film. The hour passed quickly, and Ozge and Emel mounted their horses, Alaca and Sosusa. They each said their lines, with the fierce lights blinding them. 

Finally, as they rode up the bank, they saw Burak lying patiently in the water. He was covered in mud. Ozge thought to herself, 'Pull yourself together, Torer. Just pretend that Ozcivit is the dummy that you used in rehearsals.' She looked over to Burak, and exclaimed. 'Sister, look there is a man there. We must save him!' "Gonca" replied, 'We have a very important mission, sister. We mustn't stray for a man. Our sir will be waiting for us.' Despite "Gonca's" proclaims, "Bala" jumped off Alaca, and waded through the water, to the body. She pulled her horse along with her, and tied her reigns around "Osman's" arms. 

'YAH!' She hit Alaca's rump, and the horse pulled like it was supposed to. Emel ran up to grab Alaca, whilst Ozge knelt next to Burak's head. She carefully clutched his face, nervous but raring, and cupped some water from the river. She breathed, then wiped her hand over his face. She felt his stubble, and his nose, over his eyebrows, and let go over his hair. She wiped once more, and he slightly opened his eyes. Emel shouted to her, 'We must go now, he is conscious and will know who we are, let's go!' Ozge stood up, and with one last look at "Osman", she left. 

Burak was still dazed. The way her hands felt on her face. The way she looked at him. He felt his heart beat. Soon, the camera was on his face, so he acted out his scene. 'CUT! That was perfect, Burak kardas. You too, Ozge and Emel bacilar. It's time to eat lunch. Quickly, it's pasta!'

Ozge carefully pulled Alaca and Sosusa whilst Emel helped Burak get up. She didn't know how to feel. The actress pushed her thoughts aside, with only nerves as her last resort, and made her way to the canteen.

Side Note

Yes, this is a thing now. Hopefully, BOTB (Battle of the Buraks) will be an interesting plot twist. I need lots of ideas, so in the comments, tell me what you want to see. I might add it in if I don't know what to add. Yes, Burak Celik isn't mentioned yet, but he will be coming in a few short chapters. Also I will from now, call the Buraks by their surnames.
