"Children! Break time is here! Be sure to come back before the bell comes or?" Says the woman,
"Your name will be moved down!" reply the Children.
A rush of energy sweeps through the room , as a mass of children pour out from a place they so wished didn't exist. All that is left in the room is a little girl and the teacher, the little girl is reading as the teachers marks through her work.
"Why aren't you playing with the other kids?" the woman asks,
"It's quiet when they aren't here, It becomes peaceful," the girl replies,
Silence rings throughout her mind.
"I suppose that is true," remarks the woman, "Carry on,"
"Thank you miss," the girl says
The little girl reads her book, flicking each page as if it was an art piece that has been here fore generations. She felt bliss, no-one was here to talk to her, no-one to annoy her.
"It was perfect," she thought to herself.
She suddenly awoke as a deafening buzz raided the room, she clenched her ears to stop the noise from entering her ears. It stopped. Releasing her ears she looks around, grey concrete walls as cold as ice when touched, a little mat, a rusty , tin bucket and a sink attached with a mirror. She walks towards the mirror staring at herself, filthy medical gown, her hair covered in dust and her cold cold face. She tried to smile, yet it failed. Not bothering to try anymore she goes in the corner and collapses onto the ground, looking at the wall as she does.
"Cold," she whispers to herself.
A period of time passes. Suddenly a thick metal door opens, she stands up knowing what is going to happen. A large man in a bulky white lab coat comes in with a clipboard,
"Test subject 021, you must come with me to the examination room," He says, his voice sounds brisk as if he said this a million times. Dragging her legs she walks towards the door and out, She looks at her self in the mirror as the door closes,
"Cold"
The door shuts.
