Tae cleared his throat before speaking again.

"I don't want to run the risk of pushing to soon, but I know you are on a time sensitive scale. But I always intended for my wife to be in love with me, and it hasn't changed, " he began, and that honestly surprised me on how straight forward that was, but it tugged at my heart, "not that I am comparing burdens here, as I know yours is greater than mine, but I wanted to fall in love, before proposing marriage, while it seems we are doing it backwards"

And at that, I couldn't help but chuckle lightly, and he matched my wide smile with his own.

"I just wanted to be clear of my intentions. I can't imagine how many proposals your Father got, there isn't many first born Princesses that take the throne, they normally pass it to the first son" he added.

I nodded, "I understand why. Because of the ridiculous untouchable law. Prince's do not need to be married to inherit the crown"

Tae pursed his lips, looking down at me, "I agree with you"

I was glad about that. I don't know what I would have said if he said he didn't agree with me. He may as well just have turned around and got back on his ship.

"My brother told me about you, before I said to send a invitation" he said after a few seconds.

I rose an eyebrow, "so you had the choice?"

"Well, I don't think I did when it came down to it, but I knew my brother wanted to set up the picture for me first" he said, giving me a little smile.

I watched as he brought his hand through his thick hair.

"You have made me wonder what the world is saying about me now" I teased.

He gave me a little chuckle, "I wasn't lying that a lot of people call you an angel. You are known for helping your villages around the Kingdom, Decoris is highly respected place, they know that the King does all he can for his people, just like you do. They say you have a heart of gold, to match your hair. And of course, we all knew your age, and because there wasn't any marriage announcements, we knew that other King's were sending proposals for their sons. But I think they forget that they are coming into a established monarchy, you have been taught to lead the crown, not the other way around. While they would becoming Kings of the country, the power is still all yours"

I couldn't hide how impressed I was. That was a worry of mine also, thinking that the Prince I had to marry would expect for me to step down and let them lead things.

"I've known all my life that I would become Queen" I breathed out.

"Seconds sons normally get pushed towards the military, which I done for a short while, and learnt a lot. Then I wanted to travel and experience my country, helping and boosting morale. I like seeing their smiling faces" Tae said with a smile at the end.

His smile was so genuine, that it certainly made me for at ease with him.

We talked for a short while longer, until I had to excuse myself.

"I'll see you at dinner, Alessia" he said, and the bowed.

I tilted my head down, "have a good day, Tae"

On the walk back to the Palace high court meeting rooms, I saw the flash of purple, with two guards following closely behind the man. He was looking at the paintings we had around the walls, leading towards the meeting rooms.

The guards bowed as they saw me, which made Jungkook turn to look. He gave me a bright smile before bowing himself, "Princess"

"Prince Jungkook. Are you enjoying yourself?" I asked.
