^^Movie Night Treat^^

**Characters are aged up by 3 years! This means characters like Ash, Goh, and Chloe are 13, and Jessie and James are 18 since their canon age is 15.**

**This is a fluffy story, thanks to the requests of @idkwhattonamemyself8 and @Ally12580! I hope they (and you, the reader of course!) enjoy this story!**

**This story will be a fluff story told in a 2nd person POV**

My goodness had it been a week for our research fellows at Cerise Lab. Lots had to be done, since there was a huge interregional research party with professors all over the world, including Professor Oak himself. Because of this, Ash and Goh had to perform as much research as they could, resulting in multiple research projects a day and little sleep and food. (That did not go well in Ash's book, lemme tell you that!)

Earlier today was the important day, and it absolutely wore the boys out. So, as a reward for them, Professor Cerise rented some movies for them to watch from a RedBox machine. (Remember those?) And they really lucked out from Chloe and got plenty of snacks made by her. Unfortunately, that resulted in a deal from Goh. Now, what does Goh have to do, you ask? Well, the answer is simple; confess his love to his crush, Ash.

Oh boy.

He still wasn't sure when he was going to do it, but he does know he has to tell him sooner or later. And it was awfully obvious too, but Ash being Ash is way too darn dense to notice it. Realizing he had been staring at the wall for the past few minutes thinking exactly what I was telling you, Goh snapped out of his train of thought and decided not to worry about it for now.

Professor Cerise had gotten three movies for them to watch; a murder mystery, a comedy, and a horror movie. He didn't know what they liked, so he let Chloe pick them out. Taking analysis from the Gengar situation, it was clear that Ash did not like scary things, including horror movies, so she got one to see what progress will be made.

So far, Ash and Goh had finished the comedy and the murder mystery, with Ash having to look away at the dead bodies. Now luck was on Goh's side, because deep down he wished for a horror movie, in hopes that Ash would cuddle up next to him. See the things you imagine when you have a crush on someone? Though, there was a problem....Goh was legitimately scared of them too. 'Well, then we could keep each other close, nobody has to be dominant!' was Goh's final thought.

Twenty minutes into the last movie, and it was visibly clear that Ash was trembling the entire time. Goh wanted to make a move so bad, but couldn't decide whether or not to risk it for the biscuit or not at all. Interrupting the war in his mind, Goh felt a tight squeeze on his hand. He looked over and saw poor Ash holding Goh's hand tight, eyes locked onto the screen.

Now, what I didn't tell you, was that Goh had seen this particular movie that was being watched, so he knew when a gruesome part was coming up. At this point, Goh knew that one of the gruesome parts in the movie were coming up, so just before it could hit, Goh took his free hand around Ash's head and leaned it so where his eyes were facing his shoulder, but had to face the gruesome part for himself.

In this scene, he always looked away or closed his eyes, but couldn't do it in time. He did not expect it to be that bad, but it reached far above his expectations. When it was over, he removed his hand from Ash's head, granting him mobility, and full-on broke down. Tears, tears, all of it. Ash looked up to see Goh in such a state he had never seen before in anyone.

In what seemed like two seconds, Ash snatched the remote and turned the TV off, and hugged Goh as hard as he could, trying his hardest to calm him down. Goh instantly melted into Ash's arms and soon stopped crying. Becoming tired from all the commotion, Goh drifted off to sleep. But before he could fully fall asleep, he whispered "Thank you so much, Ash, I love you" Blushing at this, Ash whispered back to a sleeping Goh, "I love you too Goh, I had to return the favor."

"And I'd do it again and again."
