Akaashi had always thought they would end up together.. But, not like this. Not in his wildest dreams could he have imagined it to be like this.

Akaashi, Kuroo, Kenma, and bokuto were all hanging out one day at Akaashi’s apartment, as they usually do, when Bokuto had an idea, “What if we started a podcast? Wouldn’t that be so cool?”

“I’m sure it would bokuto-san but, do you have even the slightest bit of an idea of how to start one or what to talk about on it?” Akaashi said

“No, but I’m sure I could-” Bokuto said before Kenma cuts him off

“I actually know how to. I’ve started looking into it, some of my fans have been requesting I start a podcast.”

“See look, it all plays out! We could talk about just like everyday things. Akaashi I’m sure you have quite a few things to talk about,” Kuroo says teasingly, “I saw what's in your journal.”

“You looked through my journal?!” Akaashi explaims angrily.

“No no. Before you get mad at me it was so I could figure out what to get you for christmas. I was gonna get you a new laptop but when I thought about it you texted me saying you had gotten a new laptop! So while you were in the bathroom I looked through it just a bit.” Kuroo says, trying to explain his actions.

“You really are a pain in the ass hm? You still shouldn’t go through my stuff like that even if it is for a ‘good’ reason.” Akaashi is still kind of annoyed.

After Bokuto and Kenma left Akaashi’s apartment Kuroo was left there all alone with him. They were sitting on the couch watching a movie when kuroo scoots closer and Akaashi, liking kuroo, starts to get a little bit nervous.

“E-Excuse me I have to go find something in my room!” Akaashi quickly gets up and darts to his room.

He sits down on the bed trying to calm down as thoughts rush through his head. Him overthinking things causes him to stay in there for a good 15 minutes which causes kuroo to get a bit concerned. Kuroo gets up and starts walking towards the door and just as he's about to knock Akaashi opens the door and walks out, not seeing him, bumps into him, and knocks them both onto the floor.

“I’m sorry! I wasn't paying attention to where I was going! Are you okay? I didn’t mean to. I'm so so so sorry!-” Akaashi gets cut off by Kuroo laughing.

“Why are you apologizing so much? It's really nothing.” Kuroo Chuckles.

“You’re not.. Upset?” Akaashi says confused.

“No I’m not upset? Why would I be upset over an accident?” Kuroo says even more confused.

“I don't know I just thought you would get upset over it. Why were you even coming to my room?” Akaashi asks.

“You were in there for quite a while I was worried something had happened or something. Did you find what you were looking for?” Kuroo says, standing up.

“No, I didn't. I think I might have left it at your house last night.” Akaashu says, standing up as well.

“Ohhhh! That grey hoodie?” Kuroo puts his hand out to help Akaashi get up, “It'sh; in the wash right now, I decided I would wash it for you.”

“Why thank you Kuroo” Akaashi says, smiling and taking Kuroo’s hand.

The two then walked back to the living room and finished the movie, Akaashi offered for Kuroo to stay over since it was getting dark outside and he had walked there. “I have to go to work tomorrow and all of my stuff is there so no thank you.” Kuroo respectfully declined.

“Okay well stay safe!” Akaashi said kind of disappointed that kuroo hadn't taken the offer but he still understood.

“Will do, thank you,” Kuroo says, putting his shoes on, “Bye!”

After he left Akaashi stood there looking at the door hoping Kuroo would change his mind and come back, he knew that he wouldn't but he still had hoped. Akaashi had decided after a few minutes of staying in the same place looking at the door that he should start getting ready for bed as it was 2 in the morning already. He quickly stumbled to his room and got his pajamas on and did what he had to do to get ready for bed.

As he was laying there in the darkness of his room, under his covers he couldn’t fall asleep. He had too much on his mind, ‘I hope kuroo is okay.. Did he get home alright? What would have happened if he stayed? Why cant I stop thinking about him?’ he had started getting angry at himself for feeling like this when he loudly exclaimed, “What is wrong with me?!” He sighed and turned over falling asleep a few minutes later.

The next week would be a living hell for Akaashi, he couldn't get a hold of Kuroo anywhere and he tried to show up at his house but no one was home. He had started thinking it was his fault when a moment of realization happened. Kuroo had gone home at 2 am all by himself. Akaashi then began to panic, he rushed out of the apartment building looking around frantically. He could barely see as it was nearly midnight. He looked at his phone to check the time ‘11:43 pm’ it said. He decided he was just going to look around for 15 minutes and if he couldn't find him he would look in the morning.

Just as he was about to give up looking, he heard something from behind him. He looked behind himself and there he saw a van. The van started driving faster towards him which made him panic so he started running and of course the van sped up. He tripped on a crack in the sidewalk and hit his head and passed out.

When he had woken up he was tied to a chair in a room with no light. He looked around and could just barely make out the shape of another person sitting next to him, tied up on a chair. “Hello..?” he asked, hoping for a response from the other person.

“Hello?” The other one replied.

“Wait. Kuroo? Is that you?” He said sorta relieved.

“Yes? Akaashi?” Kuroo asked.

“Where are we?” Akaashi asked, looking around.

“Wonderland” Kuroo said sarcastically.

“Wow, still a pain in the ass in times like this” Akaashi scoffed.

Just as Kuroo was about to make another sarcastic comment the lights turned on. There was a man standing in the corner the entire time listening to them bicker. “I suppose you guys would like to know where you are,” The man said.

“Yes we would” Both kuroo and Akaashi said at the same time.

“Well as you guys aren't going to be able to tell anyone else I guess I could tell you” The man cooed.

“Well-” Akaashi says getting cut off by the man.

“Don't talk. No one wants to hear your words” The man scoffed.

Akaashi took offence to this but he stayed quiet, concerned as to what the man was going to do to him.

“You are in a room at the top floor of an old, abandoned, warehouse.” He said walking around the room, “You will not escape from here and if you try I will not hesitate to blow this place up. Below you, under the chairs, there are 2 bombs, if you try to escape I will set them off. Understood?” Akaashi and Kuroo nod hesitantly. “Good! Now I’m going to be off somewhere else if you need me.. Dont” He walks out of the room leaving the two males alone.

The two talk for about an hour or so just trying to figure out how to leave when Akaashi says, “I always thought we would end up together.. But, not like this. I never imagined it would be like this”
