Hey the names Y/N, Y/L. But people call me Joy. It was a nickname I got from working at a coffee shop. Even customers called me that. I only got the nickname because everyone saw me happy in their own eyes, everyone saw me energetic. But little did they know, I was the complete opposite. See here's the things, a person always has three different faces, a face for society, a face for their friends and family, and a real face for themselves. And I have all three faces, especially the one for society. Yea I may look happy and very very optimistic but I reality I am not. Only because I don't want others to worry, I can help myself fight through with this. So I plaster on a smile and just go with the flow.

Co-worker: Hey joy, is it okay if you take this customer for me? Have to go use the restroom.

Me: Yea for sure, don't take too long like last time. *smiles*.

Co-worker: It's not my fault Chipotle tastes so good. *Light chuckle*.

Me: Yea, yea, yea *chuckles*. Go on.

I say with a smile. I turned around and headed my way to the cashier register. As I was making my way towards the front, I saw a tall brunet guy. He was wearing a blue jean jacket, with ripped jeans and brown boots. As I saw him play with his hair I saw multiple unique rings on his fingers.

Strange style for men, but I like it.

Me: Good morning! What can I get for you today? *smiles*.

??: Just the usual basically.

Me: Alrighty, and your name is?

??: John. Oh and also with the coffee can I get a muffin as well please. *small smile*>

Me: Ahh here you are, sorry I had to look through all the J's in this computer, oddly you are the only John here *light chuckle*, and yes ofc a muffin, that will be $8.50 please, *smiles*.

John: Here you go.

He says as he hands me his card. I swiped his card and gave it back to him.

Me: It will be ready in 5.

He smiled and walked towards a table and sat down. As for me, I went to the kitchen and started to prepare his drink.

5 minutes later

Me: coffee and muffin for John!

I saw him bolt up from his seat and made his way over to the counter with a smile, "thank you!"

I nodded my head with a smile and said, "You're welcome!"

I head my way back to the kitchen and went up to my co-worker.

"I'm going to take my break, see you in a bit," I said as I walked out back of the shop.
