Episode one finished. Sorry for the bad art... but anyway to explain this in case no one would understand is that what the first two with c.l. and this other person are flashbacks on her past abusive relationship. She has a nightmare about it. In her past relationship, she constantly gets beaten up. ( btw this series is called just ok) she asks why he does this and is told that it happens in every relationship. It took awhile for her to build the courage to leave. She decided not to be in another relationship thinking every one would be like that.
