Mine

Chapter 4

So Lucas and I have been living together for about a week. Right now, I'm on my way to work. I'm going to be alone until 2. That's when my students start coming in. I'm Choreographing the dances for the recital. I'm also meeting Lukey for lunch at 12. I got a call from him as soon as I got to work.

"Hello?"

"Hey. I know this is really last minute, but Cayla has to move in. Our parents left and didn't say where they went." Luke said. Cayla was his 13 year old sister.

"Um, okay. Put her in the guest room for now." I said.

"Okay. I'm taking off of work to stay with her. Love you"

"Love you too."

I rushed home to make sure Cayla was okay. Lucas and I had to skip lunch, so I didn't get to talk to him.

"Hey, little princess. Are you okay?" I asked when I entered the house. She had dried eyeliner streaks down her face from crying earlier.

"Hey, Sarah. They left me. I'll never see them." She said, starting to cry again. I pulled her into my arms and held her. Luke silently left his office and joined our hug.

"Thanks for taking me in. I'm gonna go call a friend." she said, going into the guest- her room. Lucas pulled me into a tight hug. I relaxed my shoulders and took a deep breath. Today was pretty stressful. None of the dancers world cooperate and the Cayla incident. I just wanted to cuddle with Luke. So I did. We watched Disney movies and cuddled until we both fell asleep.
