Chapter 3

Yuna's POV.

I sigh as I kept changing the channel.

"Thanks for coming Joon .." said Hyejin as she lead that Namjoon guy to the front door.

"No problem ," he said with his deep voice.

"I was wondering if you wanna go to school together tomorrow .." he said making Hyejin's eyes widened. I giggled softly as I peeked at the two.

"S-Sure , I would love to .." said Hyejin making me giggle.

"Great , I will pick you up tomorrow morning then .. see you .." he said as he walked out of the house.

"See you !" Said Hyejin as she shut the door. She leaned on it , squealing hard making me chuckle. She walked towards me , plopping down beside me.

"Am I dreaming ? I feel like I am .." she said as she look at me.

"Pinch me.." she said making me pinch her hard on her thigh.

"Ouch ! Aish ! It hurts !" She said , rubbing her thigh.

"What ? You asked me to pinch you !" I said making her roll her eyes.

"Anyways , tell me what happened .. you met a guy didn't you ?" She asked making me chuckle.

"A jerk to be exact .." I mumbled.

"So ? What happened ?" She asked.

"Two days ago , he came up to me when I am minding my own business but I walked away  , then today , I bumped into the exact same guy like urgh !" I said frustrated.

"Maybe he just wanna talk to you .." she said making me give her that 'really' look.

"What ? He maybe wants to get to know you .." she said.

"Get to know me ? Seriously ? There are thousands of girls out in Seoul , why would he want to get to know me ?" I asked.

"Maybe he is interested in you .." she said making me chuckle in disbelief.

"Come on , what's wrong with making a new friend ?" She asked.

"I don't need anyone else but you , I like being alone." I said.

"See , this is what I meant by making friends , you can't just stay here in this house all the time .." She said.

"To be exact , I did go out to the park so that is considered as not staying in the house .." I said.

"Yeah but you go always go to the park , alone." She said making me sigh.

"Talk to him and get to know him .. maybe he has good intentions .." she said.

"You know that I suck in talking to people as specially boys , it's been years since I talk to one eversince you know what happened .." I said.

"It's never too late to try , right ?" She said making me sigh. She then yawn , looking at the time.

"I should get to bed ," she said as she stood up with the empty cups.

"Don't sleep to late .." she said ruffling my hair making me smile. I sigh as I look at the tv.

"I hate it when she is right .." I muttered.

"I heard that !" Shouted Hyejin from her room.

- next day -

I walked towards the park , looking around to see if that guy was here. I frown not seeing him anywhere. I sigh in defeat , walking towards the bridge. Soon I saw someone familiar.

'It's him , come on Yuna , this is your chance ..'

I fixed my clothes , walking towards him.

"Hey .." I called out making him turn. His eyes widened seeing me as he back away.

"W-Wait ! I am not here to scold you or what ever .." I said making him stop. I cleared my throat , fiddling with shirt.

"Look , um I just wanna say I'm sorry for being rude to you for the past two days .. I know you was just trying to help .. I'm sorry .." I said , looking down to my feet. Soon I heard a small chuckle making me lift my head.

"Apologies accepted .." he said , smiling. I then pulled my hand out.

"Yuna , Kim Yuna .." I said as I look at him. He look down to my hand and then back at me. He shook his hand with mine.

"Hoseok , Jung Hoseok .." he said as he chuckled. I pulled my hand away , placing it in my hoodie as I look at the water flowing from the lake.

"So um , you come here often ?" I asked.

"Yeah , I kinda came across this area .. ever since then , I always come here to just clear my mind .." he said.

"What about you ?" He asked.

"I used to come here everyday with my mom .. we used to sit at one bench and talk about different topics .." I said , smiling to myself.

"What about now ?" He asked.

"I'd rather stay at home now .. be alone .." I said , sighing.

"I am trying to change .. but it's hard .. I don't even know my own home town .. weird right ?" I asked making him shake his head. I chuckled and sigh.

"I want to show you something .." he said as he grabbed my hand , pulling me along.

"H-Hey , where are we going !" I asked as we walk.

"You'll see !" He said as he dragged me along.

- later -

He soon stop in front of an old abandoned building. I frown , looking at him as he turn to me.

"Really ? You dragged me all the way here to a old abandoned building .." I asked.

"Well it's not out here but in the building .." he said as he walked towards the fence. I frown in confusion , following him. He then kneeled down , removing a big box revealing a hole in the fence. He looked at me and smile.

"Come on .." he said as he crawled in making my eyes widened.

"Wait !" I said as I held his shirt making him turn.

"What ?" He asked.

"We are trespassing , what if we get caught ?" I asked looking around.

"Relax , no one will know about this anyway .." he said as he was about to crawl in but I stopped him again. I shook my head making him chuckle.

"Do you trust me ?" He asked as he pull out his hand , waiting for me to grab on it.

I breathe in and out before l slowly kneeled down. I then went under the fence as he help me up. He look at me smiling.

"Let's go .."
