Emma left not to long ago with Leo to get something not sure what it it's for but I am left alone till I hear a knock on the door. I'm strumming chords to a song I made not to long ago as I say come in.
"Hey," I look up and see Jordi.
I stop strumming then smile, "hi."
"You play?" He asks pointing to my acoustic guitar Lisa had given me earlier that day.
"Yeah."
"Cool, cool."
"Yeah I guess."
"I do too."
"Really?" I guess he looks like he could play.
"Well since Emma and Leo," he makes the names sound force, "are out, Emma asked if I could come get you for the meeting, soo...."
"Yeah, you can go with out me I'd rather not, I feel like I'm bugging in on something that's not mine."
"You're not, come on these guys are really cool once you give them a shot," he smiles, "besides I told Emma I would so I am going to get you up there."
"Do you have something with Emma? Or What's up with you and Leo?" I raise an eyebrow.
"What?" He looks away in disbelief, it looks fake though. "I don't have anything going on between Emma and I, and nothing wrong with Leo and I," he says protectively.
I raise my arms in surrender, "I'm just saying the way you act and talk, Jordi," I sit up more straight, "I've been around liars all my life, I'm use to being lied to, I know when people lie to me and I know how to lie well, you're lying to me, but I'm not gonna be the pushy new girl it's not my style. It was just a question," I finish.
He shoves his hands in his pockets and looks away from me, "does that mean you're coming?"
"Sure, I guess," I set my guitar on the stand next to my bed and walk to the door exiting with Jordi.
