This was it.

The sun was exploding. They can feel the heat already and it's burning.

Few pods were available and people were fighting for it. His mother was calm, she made sure that her child got into a pod, once she locked his seatbelt and gave him a small kiss and hug, he was confused.

"Mama, why are you crying?" He asked, but his mom just smiled and shuts the pod.

"I love you, Chanhee." Was the last thing he heard after feeling the shock of the ejection, he felt dizzy and hot, everything was swirling, for a dense 8 year old like him, everything for sure was a blur, literally, his vision got blurry and his head was swirling, all he felt was a big shake and his head collided with whatever metal was above him, after that his everything went black.

Chanhee woke up due to a shaking motion, with his laziness, he kicked whatever was shaking him, more like whoever.

"H-Hey, are you alive?" Chanhee jolted awake, hitting his head again because of the small spaced pod he was in, the small door was opened, and a kid that looks like his age was sitting on the small space near his seat, his seatbelt was unbuckled which made him scared, he wasn't a social butterfly like his brothers so meeting new people made him anxious.

Chanhee brought his knees close to him, clenches his fists in a defensive manner and glared at the boy, the latter was quite frightened at how Chanhee glared at him but he smiled a bit.

"I-I won't hurt you!" Chanhee eyed him, his eyebrows furrowed but then he remembered what happened, his mom crying and bidding him goodbye, he was confused but he felt heavy and sad, he didn't know why but he cried.

"D-Does this mean I c-can't see my hyungs and m-my mama anymore?" The other felt bad, he didn't have anyone except his sister, he didn't know where she was ejected but he suddenly had the urge to hug the boy and soothe him.

Not to mention that he liked his honey voice, but that's for next time.

So he did. He hugged Chanhee, he pats his head and brings him closer to his chest, like his sister used to do when he was sad, he lets the latter cry on him but shortly he calms down and gave him a teary grin.

"T-Thank you for this I guess.." Chanhee pushes him away softly, crosses his arms and pouted.

"I'm Choi Chanhee." The latter smiles at him, his smile made Chanhee feel soft but he wouldn't let his guard down.

"Then nice to meet you Choi! I'm Kevin Moon."

"Well then, Nice to meet you Moon."
