"Hey, get up it's time for lunch." I awoke to someone shaking me. I looked up straight into those hazel eyes. I stutter something not even i know. I shake my head at myself and try and save what is left of my bun as i walk down the hallway. Weston is walking behind me with 3 other girls. "Hey Ella, let me introduce you to a few people." I hear his voice speak from behind me. I turn around and they stop. This is "Ciarra." He says as a short girl with the brightest blue eyes steps up to me. She has shoulder length brown wavy hair and a smug smile on her face "You are so beautiful." She said as she shook my hand. I smile, introduce myself, and thank her. "I'm Layla." A girl about the same height as me steps up, she has those eyes you could get lost in if you looked for too long. They are blue/green with brown spots around the pupils. She has hair about the same length as mine that is curly and brown. I smile and shake her hand. "I love your eyes." I say. She thanks me and returns to her previous standing position. "I'm Jade." A girl steps up, she has extremely short black hair with blonde streaks in the fringe. She has brown eyes, and angel bites. I shake her hand.

I can't decide why he wanted me to meet them though, does this mean we're friends now? Or is it just so i know who they are? I shake my head to myself and they conversate about what we're having for lunch. They're all asking questions about my group home and what it's like living with 5 kids in one house. I tell them it's nothing new. I'm use to it.

I sit at the lunch table with Weston and his friends. There are 2 guys here that are beside Weston. They look at me and ask my name. "Ella." I say. "That's a really pretty name." The guy with blonde hair says. I study him. He has brown eyes and big lips. He smiles at me. His bottom teeth are crooked- but not that 'oh my god his teeth are so bad' - that cute sort of crooked, you know? "Don't even think about it Zach, she's way too pretty for you." Layla laughes from the seat beside me. "Hey fuck you, Layla." Zach says. The table laughs, along with me. The darker haired guy speaks up now. "Just ignore him Ella." He laughs. I giggle and just look back at Zach. "I'm Ryland, just by the way." The dark haired one speaks up again.

I study Ryland for a minute. He has a slight beard, with really tan skin, and brown eyes. I avert my eyes to Layla who begins talking to me. "So, do you think if i met the head of your house if they'd let you stay with me for the weekend?" She asks. "I don't know," I reply "I mean they said they want me to make friends, and considering it's already thursday and i have no plans, i don't see why not." "Great!" She squeals "When should i talk to them?" she asks. "Today after school?" I ask. "That works." she says.

I have 4th block with Layla, so I walk with her to Pre Cal with her. We sit down, and we have a substitute, so i dont bother showing her the sheet of paper. "So, what do you think of Weston?" She asks. "He's cool, i don't really know him though." I reply with a shrug. "You think he's cute?" She asks. "I mean.." I pause for a second "He's not ugly." I laugh. She laughs with me. "Do you have a phone?" She asks. I nod. She hands me her phone, already opened to the contact section. I add myself to her contacts. "I'll text you" She says.

After school Layla walks with me home. I walk the railroad tracks home, because they seem to be the easiest way. Once we're off school grounds I open my bag and take out my pack of ciagrettes. I pull a lighter from the bottom of my bag. "You smoke?" She asked. "Yeah, it's a habit." I mutter with the cigarette between my teeth. I hold the pack out, offering her one. She takes one and slides a lighter from her bra. We laugh together. "I like you" I laugh. "You're not too bad yourself." She replies.

We walk, talking about our lives and what we plan on doing with ourselves. She tells me about a party this weekend. I smile as i inhale the last hit of my ciagarette and throw it off into a ditch. Layla finishes hers off and throws hers into the ditch also. We walk up to the door to my house. Layla introduces herself to the heads. She asks if i can stay for the night and the weekend. After thinking on it for a few minutes they say that they don't mind but i have to clean my room first. I thank them and pack my bag. This should be fun.
