Chapter 17

Jacks POV

It's been 5 days since Rhianna's talked to me.

I can't take it.

No matter how hard I try to talk to her she won't listen.

I'm a mess right now.

I've hardly been able to eat or sleep knowing that she hates me.

The boys have been trying to make me feel better but it never works.

I need to explain.

I need her to understand that Leigh kissed me.

I need her.

I run my fingers through my hair as I stare out the window of the classroom until I'm interrupted by someone entering the classroom.

Rhiannas POV

I walk into the classroom as everyone's eyes dart to me.

I've finally convince myself after 5 days to come to class even though I have to see Jack.

He's tried talking to me but I refuse to be the naïve girl who ignore the fact that Jack kissed Leigh.

As my eyes scan the classroom I instantly make eye contact with Jack.

He look different.

He had bags underneath his eyes, messy hair and was wearing sweat pants with a jumper.

As we made eye contact you could see he was heartbroken.

I tried not to crumble at the sight of him and went to sit next to Nash.

No matter how much I wanted to run up to him and kiss him I couldn't.

I let out a sigh as I take my seat making Leigh look over at me.

I couldn't read the expression on her face but I didn't care.

Class went by slowly as I felt Jacks eyes on me.

I didn't dare look up at him.

Even though Jack did what he did I still loved him and it hurt to see him sad.

Soon enough the bell rings indicating the end of class.

I practically sprint down the hall, afraid Jack was going to try and talk to me again and I was going to run into his arms.

When I'm nearly out of the building I feel a hand on my shoulder.

I turn around and see Jack.

"Can we please talk?"

"I don't want to talk to you" I say bitterly avoiding eye contact.

"Rhianna please-"

"No Jack! I'm not going to be the naïve girl who continuously goes back to her after he cheats on her, I'm not stupid Jack"

"Please just listen to me, let me explain, it wasn't what it looked like"

I scoff

"Sure"

"Please Rhianna just listen, I love you and I would-"

"You don't love me, you don't hurt the people you love"

"For Fuck sake just let me explain!"

"No Jack you don't need to explain, I know what I saw" I say before storming off trying to hold in my tears.
