Chapter 8

"Y-You mean that ally way incident when you were 13?" Rose asks. I nod my head. "But you told us..." Emmett said. "Yea. I-I barely knew you guys. A-and I was s-scared." I lean down, putting my elbows on my knees. Tears fall down my face like a river. I couldn't loose them. I am scared of loosing them. And I didn't want them to leave me. I know it was a big secret to keep especially from Jasper. I get up and look at Jasper. It was Major instead and his face was looking at me with venom tears and-and anger.

Was it towards me. Did I loose the love of my life? I know I should have at least told him first and sooner. I looked around and Rose looked upset. She was leaning forward with her hand on her mouth resting there. She had venom tears in her eyes. I looked at Edward and he was deep in thought. "I-Im sorry. I know it was a big secret to of kept these past months." I say. Carlisle was the first to look at me. I was controlling the sibs hug barely. Silent tears ran down my face. My hand was over my mouth keeping my mouth shut.

He came over and hugged me tightly. I wrapped my arms around him. He understood me. He knew me. He was like my father. He knew I wasn't just crying because I told him, or the anger and hurt from everyone, it was because of the pain she caused me I could never forget what it felt like when that man abused me. When that man in the ally was in me what it felt like to feel your insides get destroyed. What it felt to feel ripped apart from the inside out. It wasn't just sexually assaulted it was emotionally too.

You never get over or forget that kind of abuse. Coming back to reality I opened my eyes and let go. I walked over to Major and sat next to him. He pulled me into his lap and I smiled. His face went in my neck and it tickled. He sounded like he was sniffing me. His face was covered with my damn hair. His arms snaked around my waist. A few minutes later he stopped. I looked at him and it was Jasper again. He felt my confused emotion. "Your scent it calms me down. With any mate the other Kate's scent calms the other one down." I nod and lay back. I close my eyes and just relax.

The door bell rings and I groan. I get off of Jasper's lap and walk over to the door. I then unlock it and open it. I see Angela there. A smile appears on my face. "Hi Angie." Tears immediately fall down her face. "Hey, what? What happened?" I ask. "My parents won't stop fighting. My dad is drunk again and my mother is high. C-can me and my brothers stay?" She asks while sobbing a lot. "Yes, yes of course." She nods and we walk outside and I see 2 little boys both crying. "This is Isaac and Josh." Angela said to me.

I nod and pick up Joshua. We walk inside and the Cullen's were gone. "Josh Issac this is my best friend Briana. We are gonna be staying here for a while. Briana do you have a room that has 2 twin beds?" Angela asks. My phone goes off and I look at it.

Already done. Next to yours. Angela will be sleeping in your room. Alice.

I look at Angela "Yup next to mine." I say she nods. "Are you guys hungry?" I ask the boys. They nod. "ok what would you like?" I ask them. "Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich." Angela said. "Ok." I turned on some cartoons and walked to the kitchen with Angela. We start making the sandwiches and I start talking. "So when were going to tell me about your parents." "Briana I don't want to talk about this right now." I stop what I was doing and look at her.

I scoff. "Yes we are talking about this." I say back. She grabs the plates and looks at me. "No we are not." She says walking out. I huff and walk out a few minutes later she hands the boys their food. I head up to my room and plop on my bed. I feel a light breeze then arms around my shoulders I look and see Jasper. I lay my head on his chest. "What's wrong?" He asks feeling my emotions. "Angela didn't tell me about her parents sooner and I feel hurt that she didn't tell me that her mother was a drug addict and her father an acholic either." "Well that kind of stuff is hard to tell and hard to cope with in general."
