Marinette cooed as she tickled the figure in front, a smile formulating upon her lips.

Laughter seemed to brighten the room every time she deemed to be around, she, the daughter of the blue haired gal. It hadn't been the easy route for both parents, super heroes, and all, yet no matter the suffering that had came from their act of nonsense, as some called, the duo saw no way back. Both where happy, both content with lives they led.

Marinette picked up the young child, holding her close, yes, in fact she had ended up giving up on her dreams once Adrien had run away, the incident being dramatically close to when they had announced truth of their relationship. Gabriel, so full in fury, so ridiculously full in disgust, had seen the bakers daughter as the only option of reason, so off with the dream he had done, as punishment for the untrue. Her parents hadn't been happy, neither had Chat Noir who had mysteriously appeared in the balcony on that very night. Sadness had been made clear in his emerald cat eyes, as if he was the guilty reason of the cause.

When her parents had found about his need of refuge, they had automatically offered the roof of their house, no doubt allowed. The blond haired hero had stayed long, ending up with the task of working in the bakery alongside the family, hidden behind doors, icing cookies, and mixing batter. No one had questioned why he had turned up that night, until Alya found out. She had held a hefty debate with the cat, one which made him leave the Dupain-Cheng's for a consecutive three days, precisely like his animal counter part when made upset.

When he had returned, the reporter had pushed, determined to find an answer, ending up with the house in chaos. Tom, who had grown awfully fond for the teenager over the twelve months he had stayed, had shoved Alya out of the bakery, shutting the door to her face. He had been disturbed, and that had been made visible, which had only proved to Marinette, that Chat Noir had become a vital part of the household. Alya was not happy at all with the result, a thing shown clearly all throughout school. Poor Nino had been dragged up, and down stairs, gardens, and lobby's, just to avoid facing Marinette.

Forgiveness had eventually came, but by then the blue haired woman had moved on, joyful to have Aurore, a close friend, along with her boyfriend, her other half, by her side. The reveal had been on accident, when she had walked in on him un-transformed, paced out atop of homework he'd be doing last night. She had been shocked to say the least, and Chat Noir had, had to explain everything from scratch at breakfast that day. With a conclusion being reached, the family had given him the choice to live in their cosy home if he wanted, and not just an extended stay.

Years had passed, and Ladybugs identity had been revealed during a late night akuma attack. Being the guardian, she had no option, but to replace her miraculous for another, at normal the bee, at times the mouse, and others the snake. Now the bluenette stayed cuddled on the kitchen counter, attempting to get the green eyed child to eat. With a distinguished sigh, she dropped the spoon, deciding enough mashed peas had been spilt for the day.

Just like her father, Emma led a sensational attraction to croissants, one which could not be denied. So, Marinette reached into the fridge, pulling out a container with dough trapped inside. Dough soon behind propelled into the shape known to be that of a croissant.

Giggles poured from both female lips, as Tikki joined in on the pastry work, still remaining by the bluebell eyed woman's side, no matter not being able to pitch in on border patrols. As the wind whipped in through the doors of the balcony floor, all three where alerted of the approach of a gentle tom. Not long passing before two midnight coloured ears peeped out from the window frame.

A giddy smile sprouted on thy lips of Emma, causing her to drop her stuffed unicorn, to clap with enthusiasm. Earlier that day, when she'd woken up to find her father gone, she hadn't been all that happy to know he'd left without her consent. It had taken some time for her mother, to coax her into sleep, repeating that he'd be back soon, which he hadn't. It was the plain meaning behind why she refused mashed peas, after the truth of wanting croissants.

Marinette, standing up in her seat, made her way over to greet her husband, wondering what had taken him so long to get back. Hawkmoth had been defeated years ago, ten to be exact, leaving the couple with simple crimes, as simple as crime could go, against the villains the two had fought with. Hawkmoth, Pain, Tears, Dr. Sadness, Mayura, Monsieur Rat, The Eclipse Invaders, (If I have spelt this wrong, please point it out, Bunnix seems to say "The Eclipt Invaders" in timetagger, but eclipt is not a word) and Noblia.
