these are just going to be one to two sentence prompts because they are story stories (although of course they can be full length books if you'd like.)

a couple of families volunteer to move to the moon to see what life is like living there.

a fiction author has just finished their novel. but when they wake up, the story isn't one the computer anymore and the characters are alive.

in the aftermath of an earthquake, a couple of teenagers fall through a newly formed crack in the earth, sending them to an unfamiliar world that they have to navigate.

a middle school student goes missing. the only evidence that can be found to possibly find out what happened was a story they wrote.

a young teen just found out that they may be related to a royal family and not actually a part of the suburban family they've been told they were for their whole life.

someone from the 1800s visits the present day. but instead of finding out what life is now like (which is what they were supposed to do), they fall in love.

an aspiring musician can see dead musicians when they play their songs.

a teenager goes into their favorite bookshop only to see that all the characters are actually alive. but the thing is, they are the only one that can see the characters.

a florist sends a bouquet of  flowers to the wrong address,  initiating a chain of events that leads to two strangers meeting and falling in love.

a family finds a baby abandoned in a bus shelter/train station. they embark on a road trip to find the baby's parents, except the family slowly starts to fall in love with child (not in a creepy way) and think of it as one of their own.

i hope something inspired you! also, many of these ideas came from websites (although i rewrote all of  them a little bit) but some were my own original ideas. feel free to take any of the options (or recreate them) and however many of them you want. if anybody actually reads this/uses a prompt, let me know so i can check out your story! i hope you have a wonderful day!

xoxo, brooke
