OVER a week has passed since that happened.
And Yumiko has been...
Avoiding...
Everyone.
Yumiko walked out the school grounds, her basket clutched tightly to her chest as she bent her head down, looking at her feet silently, trying to distract and distance herself from many things. Friends. Happiness. Him. Although she can't differentiate the last two.
She thought she was pathetic, so pathetic that she can't even handle her own emotions properly. That she can't face her problems, that she doesn't know how. That she results to sulking instead of doing something, anything.
She didn't think of anything else as she walked home, immediately walking towards her room once she got there. With no one there to greet her, her parents had left for work and she was once again, alone. Although, she asked herself, whose fault was that? No one other than herself, of course.
She was truly losing her mind, was it because she's never been in a situation like that before? So what can she do? All she could do is ask, waiting for an answer, any answer. Her problem was she didn't know how to, perhaps she hasn't really opened up yet, or maybe, the opening door was still not fully opened.
