It All Started...

Chapter 4: At your service

Luis's POV

Shyra and I went to a restaurant to have dinner. I pity her because she is already cleaning for a long time. "Choose whatever you like, its my treat." I said. "Are you sure?" Shyra said with a confused look on her face. "Yeah. You dont like. You want me to take it back?" I said. " No no. Thats not what I meant. Its just that..... Never mind." She said.

I think I regretted what I said earlier because Shyra eats like a pig. She ordered a lot of food. Our table is almost full while only ordered ice tea. Can you seriously finish all of those?" I said while pointing to the food.

Shyra's POV
" Can you seriously finish all of those?" He suddenly said that made me choke. I couldnt breathe. Water, I need water. Then with a poof a water is in front of me. I immediately grab it and drink the contents with a gulp. Oh gosh that was close. I ALMOST die. " Thank God. Thanks for the water." I said but he didnt reply. But when I look at him, he is stopping to laugh. " What are you laughing at? " I angrily adked while clenching my fists. " Nothing its just... hahaha... you eat like a pig..... hahaha" I could see tears in his eyes because of his nonstop laughter. But my anger subsided when I realize something. His laughter. This is a once in a blue moon moment. When I remember he doesnt laugh like this before. I didnt realize that I was already staring at him. " What are you looking at?" He said while wiping the tears away from his eyes. " N-Nothing." Why am I stuttering? I just continued eating what I had ordered. After that he dropped me off in my house. What did he ate that he do these things? Change of heart perhaps.. " For tomorrow be early because I want you to do something. Be in school on or before 7:00 A.M ." And with those words he left.

I take back what I said a while ago. Change of heart is not thing. He is only good in demanding.

THE NEXT DAY
I woke up early as what he said last night. I am on my way to school and it is just quarter to seven. When I entered the school I immediately saw him walking towards me. " Yoh are here so here is the thing you will do. Buy all the things on the list and bring those things by tomorrow morning. That is all." He immediately walked away but before he could totally far, I stop him. " Wait wait, you forgot one important thing." I said. I could see confusion and irritation in his face. " Where is the money for this? You know that I don't have enough money because you still didn't give my salary" " Oh fine here is the money. First thing tomorrow. Don't forget." And disappeared on the crowd.

oh no 5 minutes before first subject. I rub as fast as I can and finally I reached our classroom. I opened the door but our prof is already there. " Ms. Gonzalez you are late. Go to the detention room NOW." With a sad expression on my face, I couldn't do anything. I closed the door and go to the room.

Jak's POV
What is happening to you Shyra. This is not you. These past days I didn't see you anymore. When I tried calling you, there is no reply. And now you are late for a class and got detention.
What is happening I hope you will tell me?
Our first subject passed like a blur and I didn't understand a thing. All the time I am thinking about Shyra. I quickly packed my things and went to check on Shyra. I reached the detention room and found Shyra there talking to Luis. And a few minutes passed and they are allowed to go. I stopped Shyra on her tracks and grabbed her hands. "We need to talk." I brought her to the garden of the school. " Shyra what is going on? I know you are hiding something." She is avoiding eye contact and I am waiting for an answer.
