Switch Up/Chapter Three

Hakeem's POV

I had just gotten out of the shower and headed to the room I would be staying in. I dried my skin completely and put my towel on the heater to dry. I put a pair of boxers along with some basketball shorts on and then put deodorant on. After that I put on a black tank top and laid down on the bed.  I checked my messages realizing that Ava had texted me saying she was outside. I quickly got up to check outside the window and she was deadass sitting on the hood of the car.

How did she know I was staying here?

I checked my messages realizing that my location was still on, I could've sworn that I had turned it off but I guess I didn't.  I broke out of my thoughts when she started calling me, I declined it because I was going to go downstairs to talk to her but she kept calling. I put on my red nike hoodie and some grey sweats along with my crocs and headed out of my room.  Oreo was in her room so I walked out into the living room towards the door quietly  and locked it behind me as I had gotten outside. 

"Heyy Boo." Ava screamed.

"Get off of the car, It's a renty." I demanded.

"Aren't you happy to see me?" She asked.

"I'm not gonna lie, I do but at the same time I don't." I admitted.

"Why wouldn't you miss me?" She asked.

"Are you forgetting that you cheated on me? The hurt don't just go away." I responded.

"It's cold can we talk inside?" She asked and I shook my head no.

"You know damn well Oreo wouldn't want you inside her house." I responded and she looked disappointed.

I unlocked the car and sat in the backseat of the car, shortly after she came inside and closed the door behind her.

"What do you want and make it quick?" I asked.

"I missed you and I want things to work." She admitted.

"As much as I do want things to work, you lost my trust." I responded.

"You can trust me, it was just a mistake and I'm sorry." She put her arms out for a hug but I didn't move.

"It shouldn't have happened in the first place." I responded.

"So you're willing to throw away 4 years over one mistake." She questioned.

"You're the one who cheated. I didn't do anything but love you and be faithful for the past four years. I had so many opportunities to cheat but I didn't." I looked away from her cause my soft ass was going to cry.

"If you take me back, I'll let you cheat on me to get even." She responded and I just side looked her.
