It is two o'clock in the morning. It's a dark and cold morning, the moon is shining brightly in the murky sky. Marco is scared of the dark, therefore he couldn't fall asleep.
When it was exactly three o'clock in the morning, he opened his desk drawer as quietly as possible and grabbed a piece of sticky note and wrote on it. He wrote, "I had gone out in the early morning to exercise." Then, he quietly walked out of his bedroom. He made sure that his parents are still sleeping. After that, he'd simply stuck it softly on his parent's bedroom door.
