(A/N this oneshot is REALLYYY long 🤣 also a bit angsty for u angst fans)
Whilst preparing for another mission, Luke is having a rough time and bumps into other members in his group who bully him, ending up in a fight. Han takes care of Luke after the fight and finds out what happened (⚠️TW: Use of the f-slur and homophobia⚠️)
It was pure chaos. Everyone running around getting ships and weapons ready. However, Luke was calmly trying to get past everyone, as he was searching for his sister, Leia, to find out what the mission was for. He ended up walking near a corner, which everyone was ignoring as they were focused on their own problems, but Luke immediately noticed what was happening there. His sister was there with Han, practically inches away from each other, smiling and smirking at each other flirtatiously, hunched up in that tiny and dark corner. He felt a pang of jealousy hit him like a truck. He looked away, shaking his head in disbelief. He knew Han was a 'ladies man' as he calls himself, but this was just too much for Luke to take. The two of them were constantly together, enjoying each other's company without Luke. He sighed and continued walking with the frantic group. 'Hey, Luke!' a familiar voice called out behind him. He turned around confused, to find his childhood friend, Biggs waving at him whilst pushing past to get to Luke. He smiled back. 'Hi Biggs, you trying to get to the station?' he asked his friend. 'Yeah, I think everyone here is, follow me' Biggs took his friend down a less busier shortcut and they finally arrived at the station without a fuss. 'Jeez why is everyone so busy?' Luke strolled past the other members to get to him and his friends ship. 'I don't know, man. It seems like this mission must be serious' Biggs mentioned, coming up to the ship with Luke behind him. 'I think we have 2 hours to prepare so that should be enough to fix whatever's happening to the engines' Luke reminded his friend. 'Yeah, I'll fix it up, don't worry about it. Could you get me the tool box and some red wires from the supplies corner?' Buggs asked, climbing up on to the ship and examining the wires.
Luke's Pov:
'Sure!' I replied, running off to the supplies corner. As I ran, I noticed a familiar group of members huddled around the supplies, laughing away. 'Oh god..' I muttered to myself, realising it was Andrew and his friends. I just needed to grab the tool box and red wires and I could go. This should hopefully be quick. I sighed and walked over to them, standing next to Andrew, searching through the drawers for wires. 'Well, well, well! What do we have here?!' Andrew exclaimed, tauntingly. His friends snickered. 'I'm not in the mood' I mumbled, seeing a stash of red wires and grabbing it quickly. 'Someone's in a hurry. Gotta run back to your boyfriend, right, slutwalker?' one of his friends laughed, along with the others. I flinched at the terrible nickname, I hated them so much. 'S-Stop c-calling me that' I shakily spoke. I cursed myself for stuttering. 'HAHA! What are ya nervous around us or something?' Andrew punched me in the shoulder. I didn't dare to look at him in the eye, I just tried to calmly find the tool box. 'Dude, you don't have a crush on us or something?' his friend exclaimed loudly, catching the attention of some others. I turned around to see a lot of the other members watching us, wondering what was going on. I felt my anxiety spike up immediately, seeing all those judgmental faces. 'Shut the hell up!' I shouted at them. 'Whatever, bitch' Andrew spat, looking me up and down. 'I said, shut the hell up, Andrew' I threatened, inching closer to him. 'I won't listen to a slut. Go cry to that old man you fancy, daddy's boy' he grinned, coming closer to me. 'Oh yeah, isn't his name Han or some shit?' his friend snickered from behind him. 'Yeah. Go and whine to Han, you f*ggot' Andrew whispered to my face. I trembled, feeling tears build up. No, I won't let him get away with this. The bastard turned his back to me and started to walk off with his gang. I went up to him and pushed him, making his tumble and fall forwards on to the ground. His friends gasped and 'ooed' at me. 'You're dead, slutwalker!' Andrew yelled, getting up and punching me hard in the eye. My eye stung so bad but I didn't let that stop me. I shoved him to the ground and climbed on to him, punching him over and over. Andrew grabbed a nearby screw and cut my cheek with it. I cried in pain, but I still didn't let it stop me. I punched him again and again. 'Kid! Luke!' I heard a familiar voice shout. I didn't look up though, I just kept punching. 'Luke!' I felt strong arms pull me up and back, away from Andrew. My eyes went wide as I realised what I had done. I looked at Andrew. His face was messed up and my fists were bloody and bruised. I looked up at Han's face, his expression was a mix of pure concern and remorse. 'Aren't you gonna tell him off or something?!' Andrew screeched. Heh, even beaten up, he's still an ass. 'Just back off' Han told him, taking my sweaty hand and taking me out of the station with him.
No one's Pov:
Han walked with Luke to the first aid room. The whole walk there was silent. The elder occasionally looked down at the young blonde, concerned and wondering what made him lose it like that. He didn't want to be nosy though so he didn't ask. The two walked into the empty room, Luke sitting down on one of the beds and Han on a chair in front of him. 'I won't ask what happened. It seems like you don't want to talk about it anyways. But what you did was wrong, alright? Whatever he said, you shouldn't go starting fights with people, especially your own team members' Han lectured as he got a cloth and dabbed away the blood on Luke's cheek. 'He started it..' Luke mumbled under his breath, catching the other mans attention. Han sighed. 'I saw what happened, you shoved him first' he spoke. Luke's head perked up in shock and he looked down after in embarrassment. 'Whatever he said that riled you up, it doesn't matter. Those guys are known for causing trouble, they were just trying to get a reaction out of you' Han lectured again, putting a small bandage over the cut. 'Yeah, well they got one after what they said to me-' Luke stopped himself, he didn't want to say what Andrew called him. 'What did they say then?' Han challenged, looking at the boy in the eyes. 'N-Nothing' Luke stammered, looking away from the others gaze. 'You know you can tell me anything, I won't be angry or-' Han told him. 'He called me a f*ggot, Han!' Luke shouted.
Han's Pov:
I sighed. 'I'm sorry he called you that. I'll report it to the office, alright? What he said isn't true anyways' I said, putting an ice pack over his bruised eye. 'It's not just that. Every time, I'm around him he finds a way to upset me' Luke trembled, looking down. 'What else does he do?' I asked, lifting his chin up with my finger. 'H-He makes fun of my body, I don't know what most of the things he says means but he calls me daddy's boy, twink, gay boy, slutwalker, slut, dyke. His friends join in as well. He brings up my dad all the time...I hate it. And...he talks about you' he practically whispered, tears falling down his cheeks. 'Oh, Luke..' I hugged him softly, stroking his back as he sobbed into my shoulder. 'He's a bastard. I'll report him as soon as possible. And I'll make sure you don't have to be around him anymore' I assured him. 'T-Thank you, Han' Luke sniffed, pulling away and wiping his nose on his sleeve like a child. 'And besides, those things he said are so untrue and stupid. He's just trying to impress his so called friends' I told him, patting his shoulder. Luke nodded and then paused. 'Some things he says....are true though' he mumbles. My eyebrow quirked up in curiosity. 'What things?' I questioned. Luke took a deep breath. 'About the whole..gay thing. A couple of months ago, Andrew caught me staring at a guy who I love so much...and since that day he hasn't let it go' he explained. I took in all the information he just gave me. 'Kid, I support you no matter what. If you want to date a guy, I support you' I told him. He looked at me and smiled lightly. 'Thanks, Han' he thanked me. I smiled back and then remembered something. 'So anyways, who is this guy you've been looking at?' I grinned, playfully. Luke rolled his eyes. 'It doesn't matter!' He exclaimed, chuckling. 'Come on..give me a hint at least?' I pleaded. 'Fine...he's someone I know very well' he replied. I went through a mental list of people it could be. 'I need more details!' I groaned. Luke's breath hitched.
'H-He is tall..' he responded, unsurely. 'I don't know who it is' I admitted. The blonde paused for a moment and took a deep breath before speaking. 'Han...you were the guy I was staring at' he whispered, looking at me in the eyes. I paused, realising what he meant. 'Why were you looking at me?' I asked. 'Because I love you. And I couldn't have you because Leia had already had you' he spoke, sadly. Wait, did he think me and her were dating? 'Leia and I aren't dating, kid' I said, confused. He looked up with surprise written all over his face. 'Wait, really?! But...I saw you guys hanging out all the time without me!' Luke protested, sounding certain. I chuckled. 'Nah, she's been going through a hard time with the leaders and she didn't want to tell you because she didn't want you to worry about her, besides we're not into each other' I explained with a genuine smile. His mouth hung open and I laughed. 'That makes so much sense...' he mumbled to himself. 'So..about the..' I brought up the topic again, making Luke turn red in the face. 'I-I'm sorry Han! I shouldn't have told you, you don't even like me back, I'm so stupid, why would I-' he kept rambling on and apologising so I gave him something that he'd never forget. A kiss.
