Catching up

(Hey Guys! I'm back! So today is the last day before school and church and all that stuff so I probably won't be able to publish as much chapters as usual so today i'm going to 'attempt' to get all the important parts out today. Also, I will be making a sequel to this and it will probably just be the Ghost crew catching up and oh I don't know freaking JACEN. Anyway, hope y'all enjoy!)

Sabine and Ezra had started to back track to Ezra's shelter. They wanted to find Ahsoka and leave but they decided not to since they had no idea where she was. "So let me get this straight, Hera fought in the battle of Endor and overthrew the Empire?" Ezra asked surprised. "Yep." Sabine sayed stepping over a huge root and almost tripping. "And this guy, Luke Skywalker killed the Emperor. He's a Jedi. And turns out that he's Darth Vader's son and Darth Vader is the Jedi Knight from the Clone Wars.. Oh what was that guys name?" Sabine said rubbing her head trying to remember. "Anakin Skywalker." Ezra said and stopped walking. Then he continued," Kanan-" The name of the late Jedi Knight hit them both like a truck. They had missed him since he saved everyone from the full depot explosion. "Well he told me about him once. So. Yeah." The young Jedi said looking down remembering his master and the stories of the Clone Wars that he told him. "Hey.." Sabine said grabbing his shoulder and pulling him to face her. "Kanan wouldn't want us to mope around every time his name was mentioned." Sabine said chuckling half heartedly. Ezra grinned and nodded. "You're right. He wouldn't." Ezra said and kept walking over the rough terrain.

Once Ezra and Sabine got to the Jedi's shelter, Sabine looked in shock. "Ezra how did you-"
Sabine tried to say but Ezra cut her off. "I'm awesome." He looked at her with the cheesy ear- to-ear smirk. "Sure you are, Lothrat. But seriously, what did you even eat the past five years?" "Well, I found some military rations that lasted a few days before you got here. And then I scrounged for anything edible." Ezra said. Sabine felt so bad for him. She had about a million questions, but then she remembered the one she had since she had found him. "Is Thrawn still alive?" Sabine asked suddenly. Ezra was caught off guard but soon nodded. "Yes. I haven't seen him but i've seen his troopers. And when they call for reinforcements they always address Thrawn first..." Sabine mentally cursed in her mind. "You think he'll try to stop our escape?" Sabine asked. Ezra shook his head. "I honestly don't know." The two looked at each other not knowing what would come next. But they both knew they would never be apart again, and they would deal with this together.

Hours had passed and Ahsoka finally got the slightest bit of signal to comm Sabine. "Sabine. Sabine. Spector Five are you there?" Ahsoka said into the comm. "Um no this is Spector six can I take a message?" Ezra said into the comm. Ahsoka chuckled. "Ezra. I'm glad she found you." Ahsoka said. "Yeah it took you too long enough- OW!" Sabine had punched Ezra in the arm because of that comment. "Maybe we shouldn't have even tried since it took too long huh?" Sabine almost yelled to Ezra. "No! No! I was just joking! I- *groans*" The two bickered on and Ahsoka laughed at them. "What's so funny?" The two said together. "You two. I'm sending you the coordinates to the ship." Ahsoka almost couldn't get the words out from laughing so hard. "Coordinates received. Oh and Ahsoka, don't be alarmed if lothrat over here isn't there when we get back because I might LEAVE HIM!" Sabine yelled to a chortling Ezra. Ahsoka turned off her comm and started toward the ship. "Young love." She said.

(A little flirting in this chapter. Hope it wasn't cringy. Anyway be prepared for a lot more chapters today!)
