It has been two full weeks and today was the day your dad was getting released from jail. You got a phone call from the people that worked at the jail.
"Your father is ready to get picked up." The lady said.
"Okay, I'll be there in 30 minutes." You responded.
You got ready while Noah was sleeping. Then he woke up.
"Baby, where are you going?" Noah asked.
"I'm going to pick up my dad. It has been two weeks already." You said.
"Oh yea, I forgot. Is he coming back here for a little while or are you bringing him straight to the hotel room?" Noah asked.
"Probably straight to the hotel room. Then when I come back, I want to spend time with you." You said.
"Okay." He said.
While getting ready, you looked at yourself in the mirror. Your stomach was getting bigger. The baby was growing. Noah walked up behind you and put his arms around you. Then he rubbed your belly.
"What would you want to name it if it were a girl?" Noah asked.
"Rose. Or Rosey." You said.
"What if it were a boy?" Noah asked.
"I don't know yet. You can chose." You said.
"How about Braysen?" He asked.
"Yea. That's a great name." You shrugged.
"Okay." He said.
"Bubs, I have to go now. I told them I'll be there in 30 minutes. I only have 15 minutes to get there." You said.
Noah kissed you on the cheek and gave you a hug.
"Drive safe. I love you." He said.
"I will. Love you too." You responded.
You walked out the door and drove to the jail where your dad was at. While driving, you stopped at Star Bucks to grab a coffee. Then you finally arrived. You got out of your car and checked in.
"Hi, my name is Dixie and I am here for my dad, Marc." You told the person working at the front desk.
"We need your ID please." The lady at the front desk said.
You digg in your pockets for your wallet. But you couldn't find it.
"I think I left my ID at my house." You said.
"Well we need your ID. Without it, we don't know if your actually Marc's daughter." She said.
"One minute." You said walking away.
You took out your phone and called Noah.
"Hey bubs, do you think you can do me a favor?" You asked.
"Yea. What's up?" Noah asked.
"I left my wallet on the counter. Can you grab it for me and drive down here?" You asked.
"Uh, yea. I'll be there soon." He said.
"Okay, bye. Love you." You said.
"Love you too baby." He said.
You walked back to the front desk where the lady was.
"Sorry for the wait, I just left my wallet at home. But my boyfriend is dropping it off soon." You said.
"Okay." She said.
After about 15 minutes or so, Noah arrived with your wallet. He walked in the building and gave you your wallet. Then you took out your ID.
"Here." You said, giving her your ID.
"Okay, all set. Follow me." She said.
You ended up going in the back where all the jail cells were. Then you found your dad's.
"Hey dad. We're finally here to pick you up!" You said.
"Finally." He said in a grouchy voice.
He seemed mad. Anyways, you guys checked your dad out at the front and walked to the car. You said goodbye to Noah since he took his own car.
"I should be back home soon. I'm just going to bring him to McDonald's or something to get him food. Then we'll head to the hotel." You told Noah.
"Okay, drive safe. I love you." Noah said, giving you a hug.
"I love you too." You responded.
Noah walked to his car while you and your dad went in yours.
"Are you hungry?" You asked your dad.
"Yea, all I had for breakfast was two small pancakes, one sausage, and a hashbrown." Your dad said.
"Okay. Where do you want to go?" You asked.
"Panda express." He said.
"Okay." You said.
You both drove to Panda express, which was only five minutes away. When you both arrived, you handed your dad fifty dollars.
"Get whatever you want. Be quick." You said.
"Thank you." He said as he got out of the car.
When your dad was getting food, you get a text from Addison.
Messages
Addi: "Omg hey! Long time no see."
You: "Hey."
Addi: "I was wondering if you were up to doing a double date tonight. You, Noah and me and my boyfriend."
You: "Omg, that's sounds so fun! Let's do it. Where and when?"
Addi: "How about Texas Road House?"
You: "Sounds good to me. What time?"
Addi: "7 p.m.?"
You: "Okay. See you at 7."
Addi: "See you at 7!! :)"
After putting down your phone, your dad walks back to the car with his food.
"Here." He said handing you the extra money.
"No, no. You keep it." You said.
"You sure?" He asked.
"Yea. It's all good." You responded.
You both then drove to the hotel. The hotel was right down the road and right near your house.
"Here's some extra money for the hotel." You said, handing your dad more money.
"Thank you Dixie. I really do appreciate it. I promise I'll pay you back when I get a job." He said.
"It's okay. Bye, love you." You said.
"Bye, love you too." He said, walking out the car.
