it was the grand prix finals and i was competing . right after the womans finals were the mens finals. let me introduce myself: i am anna miazaki christie and i am half british half japanese as a 20 year old one would think i would be partying and having fun but sadly not instead i go to ice skating practice almost everyday. i skate for japan and live my family friends house who owns a hot spring in a small town in japan. their son is also a skater , yuuri katsuki. he is a good friend of mine as we used to train together before he went to chicago to train. as for me , i stayed in japan and somehow i have managed to become one of the best skaters without even having a coach. even though i am "one of the best" i still am a broke bitch .since skating takes up so much time it is hard to find a job that allows me to continue skating.so i work for the hot springs in my free time to pay for every thing anyways where was i ah yes the grand finals i was overjoyed that i got this far ,suprised even currently i am getting dressed and applying some make up before i go out and start warming up my dress is made out of a velvet material in the color dark blue it has a deep v cut with sheer nude netting that makes it more modest .it has pearls and rhinestones dotted around and vine looking deatails one the bodice.the skirt is a dark blue flowy matertial .the arms are coveerd with the same amterial as the skirt .the back has a big cutout (picture for reference:)

(this is what the leotard look like just without the red under skirt) my make up is very minimal with only a small amount of foundation to even out my blemishes ,some mascara and to top it all of some deep berry red lip stick to make my lips pop i walk out to start streching after i put on my training jacket since it was a it chilly. after a little while we get called to pull our cards and then get let on the ice for warm up . i am third so i have a little time to calm my nerves and strech a bit more.

it was my turn to perform my short program my music was a slightley shortend piano cover of "the truth untold" it was a sad song which was fitting for the theme i had this year: depression i skated out onto the ice and prepared myself to start.crouching down with my hands infront of my face as if i were shielding myself from getting hit as the first note started i slowly stood up ,letting my hands fall to my sides , with the second note i took a step(whilst skating idk how to describe this) trying to look lost as part of the performance .i did the same thing for the third note making sure to be one time with all notes. as the four quicker notes came i spun with each note .then i started skating normally .again when the more noticeble notes kame i started skating bakwards and zig zaging, turning each time a new note came.by the seventh note i turned forwards again and lifted my leg so that i am in the forth arabesque position gliding across the ice until the next note came where i faced the audience whilst gliding sideways with my feet out turned .i moved my armes out after each other in time with the music .this time when the faster more noicble notes came i did a triple flip and thankfully landed perfectly with the the audience clapping . after taking a few steps after the filp i did a bielmann spin and then continue skating.when the lead up to the chorus came i mentaly prepared for my combo .with the first big note i did a triple axel ,with the second big note i did a triple salchow and and with the third big note i did a quadruple toe loop, landing all of the jumps perfectly . i then skateted a bit before speeding up a bit to get enogh momentum for the spin i had planned, a camel spin into a sit spin .i do a step sequence and then do a layback spin into sit spin again .as the song calms a bit i start gliding again doing something similar as i did in the start .when the song speeds up again i do anothe combination with a triple toe loop, a quadruple lutz and a quadruple fip . i landed perfectly . i did another bielman spin and then into a camel spin as the song then slowley started ending. with the final note i stopped and got into my final pose. it looked like i was walking away from someone with my right leg out behind me . my left hand was outstreched above me as if i were looking into the sun shielding my eyes.
i felt exausted but also proud that i landed all of my jumpes perfectly. the audience erupted into an applause as i started skating towards the exit of the rink.once off of the ice i put on my skate guards and made my way over to the bench where i would get my score. on my way there i bumped into someone makeing me stumble a bit backwards before a hand comes to steady me.as i look up i notice the person i bumped into was the best skater in the mens grand prix final. viktor nikiforov. to say i was sunned would be an understatement . i instantly apologise as he says: no worrys i should have been looking where i was going ,miss." "i am so sorry too i really didnt mean to " the man replies:" miss as i said it is all fine , and rather you standing here aplogising i think you should be geting your score. i must say i am impressed, that was quite the routie you had there" my score ... i still had to get my score ...wait what did he say ? my eyes widen as i realize "again i am sorry , and thank very much it means a lot to me hearing that from you. anyways i must get going . bye bye" i say very flustered by his kind words i start walking as i hear him chuckle at my state as i sit down i put my jacket on and wait a few seconds for my score 112.45 " anna miazaki christie is now currently in first place" and that is when i started crying out of happienes
