Back and Forth

Poem By; Tarin. R

Madly trying to find a dealer,

Steal a few lighters,

And fight in a drugstore.

Take the next right,

In a hallway of wrongs.

Hiding from the cops,

Lying in the backseat.

Take a break,

And cant sleep, eat, or breathe.

Skip work stay out all night,

At houses being watched,

And with people I dont know.

Melt the rock,

Let it flow,

Rock the bat,

Back and forth,

So soothing to cool it down.

Shards poke out,

And memory fades.

Mistakes are made,

And missing the good 'ole days.

Before I picked up the bat,

And met the rat,

That stole my trust of my brain,

And left me,

With nothing but this craving,

To rock the bat,

Back and forth,

And forget the things that make me remember.
