"your worrying" madison spoke softly
"im not" i bluntly replied
"you are. i can sense it"
"michael, the new supreme, hes an old friend"
"what?"
"we used to live next to each other. he was my only friend and im pretty sure i was only his. and then my parents sent me away and i never spoke to him again"
"okay? why is that worrying you so much?"
"because i know what michael is capable of"
"cordelia woken up. thats what i came up to tell you" madison said walking away
"is she okay?" i said, following her frantically
"i assume so" i followed her into a grand room where cordelia was sat on a large sofa
"i want to see him" cordelia sat up "the boy"
we all followed cordelia through the dungeon like building until we were met with the rest of the council, and michael
"are you alright? we were so worried" ariel said, walking towards us
"perhaps the sudden shock of sunlight after leaving this dungeon" myrtle said sourly
"i wasn't prepared for that. for seeing my girls. but im okay now. thats what's important" she nodded softly "i want to thank you for bringing them back"
"i wanted to get your attention" michael spoke
"i suspect you've got that now" behold chimes in
"he certainly does. snd now id like everyone else's attention. i've been presented with something. a vision. i believe i saw the future. a terrifying future. cataclysm. fire. death. i saw a man. but not a man, a white face. demonic. he was laughing" she turned to myrtle "out academy—sister, i saw it reduced to cinders"
"a warning" john henry nodded softly
"maybe. but something in my blood is telling me that the only hope we have of surviving depends on what i do next" she walks around the rather large fire place that sat in between us, towards michael "in two weeks time, at the rise of the blood moon, you will tale the test of the seven wonders. that is if you still want to"
michael steps forward

"cordelia! this isn't done!" mrytle protest
"that is my decision! and nothing in the world will change my mind"
"cordelia" i walk towards her "please don't do this"
"no male has ever made the attempt. and if you succeed, you will be the next supreme. and it will change everything"
