Chapter 13

✨Taylors P.o.v.✨

I'm sitting on the couch as Kayla is with Kacie shopping for food. When I get a call, it's Kacie. Why would she call me. I click the answer button.
"Taylor, it's time..." I hear and that's all I need to hear. I rush to my cat and drive to the hospital.
Once I get into the room I sit next to her in a chair. She looks at me.
"She wants out NOW!!" She yells. We have had this discussion, we didn't want to know what the gender is, so we waited. I think a boy, and she wants a girl. Either way I know I will love it.
"I bet HE does." I say and then she groans and points to the wall.
"More medicine!!!" She yells and the doctor gives her a shot of medicine. She is yelling and screaming,
"No more kids after this... Never again Taylor Michael Caniff!!" She screams and the doctor touches her leg.
"You're doing good. Push on three." The doctor chimes. Clearly she hasn't felt it if she's being so calm.
"Ooohhh GOD!" Yells Kayla. Her face is wet from sweat and tears and her knuckles are white around my arm from squeezing me so hard. Lord help her.
About a good three hours later she finally pushes the last push out. And the doctor holds up a pretty baby girl.
"It's Sadie Lee Caniff." Coos Kayla. I smile. I'm a daddy now.

🎀Kaylas p.o.v.🎀

I look at Sadie in my arms. She cries and then looks up at me. Tears slip from my eyes as I look at her. I look up at Taylor. His face is covered in tears and a huge smile.
"I love you. We love you..." I say to her. And Taylor takes her from me. She begins to cry but when she meets his arms she stops.
"Your momma is a very beautiful person, and I know you are to be the same. I'm your daddy. I love you very much." And then he smiles and hands her to the doctor who takes her away. I look up at Taylor.
"I'm sorry I yelled. But that freaking hurts" I whine. And then he leans over to kiss me.
"It's okay sweetie. I love you. Get some sleep okay?" He says and sits back down. I nod as sleep takes me over.

He's not so bad. I understand it. It's love....
