chapter 1 the hogwarts express cordelia malfoy like regular girls cordelia malfoy has secrets, who doesn't? everybody has something to hide, her biggest secret? i guess we'll never know.
9 𝙖𝙣𝙙 3/4 hogwarts express Cordelia makes her way to the train with her luggage and bags, to be honest Cordelia doesn't have many friends, mostly because she isn't actually a Malfoy, if she was it would be a different story, girls would be sucking up to her trying to get with her brother Draco, they still do anyways though. While everybody is fawning over the diggory boy and her brother, she sits here. Day dreaming about somebody she can never have. But that's life and you would just have to get used to it, she sure has.
Having strict parents and living around people who believe in blood purity. She doesn't personally agree with her family but she respects their opinions and tries to avoid it at all costs. "Cordelia? Are you coming?" Her brother Draco asks impatiently waiting at the train door. "My apologies Draco i was lost in my own train of thought." Cordelia says politely, as she starts walking into the train with her brother.
Cordelia searches for a compartment to sit and the only one available seems to be with her brother and his friends, she sighs and sits down in the compartment next to Blaise, her parents love him and want him and Cordelia to get married to him someday. He's a sweet boy but Cordelia doesn't want to be forced to find love. "Hello blaise." Cordelia says in a quiet calming tone. "Cordelia." He greets with a warm tone. "Pleasure seeing you again love." He says. "As for you." She says back. "Cordelia." Draco says quietly. "Yes Draco?" She asks softly.
"Stop fucking flirting with Blaise he's just trying to get in your pants." Draco says angrily with a low scowl. Cordelia feels a small amount of pain course through her body. "But i wasn't... Nevermind." Cordelia says with a frown as she leans her head against the window and closes her eyes. "It's for your own good, i'm just trying to protect you..." And those were the last words she heard before she drifted off to sleep. - She awoken to a loud rattling noise and the train lights, her eyes roam around for draco but he seems to have disappeared, suddenly large black ghoul looking creatures lurk by the windows, Cordelia leaps back onto blaise and shoves him awake. "Blaise! Wake up!" His eyes flutter open and his eyes widen at the sight. "Cordelia?.. What's going on where's draco?" He asks confused. "I'm not sure.. I thought you would have known." Suddenly the train lights go completely out.
The only thing that can be heard are the terrified screams of the first year students. "I've heard of these before.." Cordelia whispers. "Dementors." - Cordelia gets off of the train and grabs the remainder of her luggage, still scared from what happened in the train she walks towards the castle hoping to get this off of her mind, a boy with brown hair and green eyes catches a glimpse from her.
(Also we are gonna pretend harry is 5,8 😄)
if she's being honest she's had a slight crush on ginny weasley in the past but she's afraid if she were to come out to her parents then they wouldn't accept her. She would be disowned from the Malfoy name. Draco has always been the favorite, ever since i refused to become a death eater everybody's been acting strange around me as if they don't trust me enough to tell me anything.
FLASHBACK
"Cordelia my love it's time..." Her mother narcissa says softly. "No, i wont become a death eater, i don't care what dad or draco thinks, i'm not becoming one and that's the end of the story!" She yells angrily. "love please try to understand we can't hide you from the dark lord much longer." narcissa says walking closer to her daughter and trying to comfort her. "Then hide me as long as you can! i'll die before i become one of them!" Narcissa frowns and nods her head. "Very well then dear, we will try our best." She says. "I'm sorry, i didn't mean to yell.." Cordelia speaks softly. "It's okay, we all get angry sometimes."
END OF FLASHBACK
Cordelia frowns at the memory and walks into the great hall, she sits down and dumbledore starts to speak. "Welcome back to hogwarts students! and to first years welcome, this will be your one in a lifetime experience, so don't take it for granted." He says with a small smile. "We'd like to introduce you to our new teacher, Delores Umbride."
"This is gonna be a long year.." Cordelia mumbles to herself.
