"Kiku! (chrysanthemum" (菊).)" the young woman's mother yells. "You're going to be late!"

The petite young woman runs from upstairs with her coat over her arm. She gives her mom a kiss on the cheek. Her mother in turn pats her back, "What had you so interested in this time?"

"Oh nothing mom, just some manga called Vagabond by Takehiko Inoue..."

"Oh Kiku! You and your manga!" her mom laughs. "Who is the hero in this one?"

"It's based on Miyamoto Musashi's life," her daughter replies.

"Ah that was a fine example of Alpha then I approve of this one," she smiles. "I just wish you would pay attention to the world around you more. There are dishonorable Alphas still and wil take advantage of you."

"Mom, you know I can take care of myself...:" she mutters.

"You are too oblivious to Alphas though," her mom now warns her. "Do you not hear their Alpha speaking to your Omega?"

"No, not particularly when I am busy with work or reading. I'm just not interested in getting a mate so I don't think about it," Kiku shrugs her shoulders.

"Totally oblivious even when you have a heat cycle," her mom just rolls her eyes. "Speaking of which isn't yours late?"

"Huh?" Kiku wasn't totally paying attention to her mom's lecture. "A few days..."

"I should not be letting you out of the house!" her mother says worried.

"The Cat Cafe has a new location near the hero school U.A." Kiku says to ease her mom's anxiety. "Work makes sure I stay safe too."

"Oh all right my little chrysanthemum..."

Kiku rides the train to the new cat cafe near U.A. High school. When she walks in the door she is stopped by her boss.

"Kiku! I need you to go to the hero school and take over the coffee stand! Mia has a strong heat that started this morning."

"I can but what does it all entail?" Kiku asks to make sure she is the person to replace Mia.

"You just sit at the booth and make drinks for the break and extended lunch hour, 10 to 1pm. You can listen to music and read as you wait for customers..."

"Oh I can do that!"Kiku says happily.

The young woman fits right in at U.A. high with her schoolgirl uniform skirt and thigh high stockings with lace up boots. Her scoop neck shirt isn't regulation but it is still school appropriate. Kiku begins by making sure all her milk products are current and not pass due. She cleans the stand and lines the flavors in alphabetical order.

At 10:01 a.m. Kiku has a line of students. As the students chatter in line, a name of one teacher keeps coming up. Some of the girls giggle that he is a scruffy Alpha that is strict. They joke that his Alpha just needs to find an Omega that he can fuck silly. One pipes up and wishes it was her. Another 'tsks' her and reminds that the school would expel her and have Eraserhead fired if not arrested for a student-teacher relationship.

"Oh! You're new here?" the one girl, who wants Aizawa bad, says.

"Hi Im Kiku! Mia is out for the week...What can I get you?"

"Why, you can leave Omega slut! Kiku or whatever your name is!" the female student orders. Her quirk activates porcupine spines on her hands.

Kiku, holding her hands up, "Hey now, I am not here to cause trouble. I am just Mia's replacement for today as far as I know."
