You're back in your room with Eliza, all alone. You set your food tray down on the desk next to Eliza's. "Bon Appetit." you said jokingly as you smiled at Eliza. You saw her raise a smile at you as she sat down, starting to eat. You couldn't help but just admire her beauty. The natural sunlight bled through the window and lit her up, giving her an almost angel-like outline around her. Her red locks, her hazel eyes, her freckles; everything. You stopped staring and headed into the bathroom to wash your face. Things started flooding your mind.

You had Eliza, holy shit. You'd been hiding your love for her for what seemed like forever. All the times she was hurt; you were there for her. Your bond was now stronger than ever as partners. You now took it upon yourself to protect her at all costs, from anything. Even if that meant sacrificing your life. You get knocked out of your trance when you hear a knock on the bathroom door frame. "Hey, Y/N. You alright?" you heard Eliza say. You looked up and met her gaze. "Y-Yeah, I was just..." you paused as you turned off the faucet and walked up to her. "Thinking about you." you finished as you ran a finger over her cheek. She blushed and her cheeks turned red, earning a smile from you. "Stop it, you're making me blush." she said as she chuckled a bit and looked down. You raised her chin up with your hand and gazed into her eyes. "You know you don't want me to stop." you said as you grinned at her. "You're sweet." she cooed right at you. "And you... are amazing." you said back at her. She lunged at you and wraps her arms around you, and you hug back in response. You cradled her in your arms and her warmth spread throughout your body. She brought her head up and planted a kiss on your lips which you returned as well. "I love you so much, Y/N." she muttered. "I love you too, Eliza." you said as you cleared some of her hair from her face. "C'mon, eat your food. I doubt you want to eat a cold omelette." she said as she let go of you. "I've had worse in Afghanistan." you laughed as you two walked out the bathroom. You sat down next to her as you continued to eat, the silence being peaceful as the both of you sat together.

Time Skip

6:00 PM

You and Eliza had just finished doing some simulations with the other operators on the training grounds. It was just another day at the office. A typical Tuesday for Rainbow. You sat down and drank a bottle of water while Eliza sat next to you while taking her hat off. Jordan wasn't there, probably getting taken care off in the medical wing by Gustave. You saw Alexsandr walking up to you and you looked up at him. "Comrade! What was this morning all about? You left Jordan on the floor whining like a little baby." he said while chuckling. "Yeah, what happened?" Timur added. You looked at Eliza and raised an eyebrow, asking for approval. She gave you the nod and you proceed to clear your throat before speaking. "Long story short, Jordan talked shit to Eliza, and I put a stop to it." you said. "Talked shit? Cyka, I thought they were together?" Alex said. You shook your head at them, "Not anymore." you said before Eliza wrapped her arms around you, making you blush and your eyes widening at the surprise hug. You saw Alexsandr and Timur's face light up with shock. "Woah! You two are together now?" Timur questioned. "Yes. And that's all you're gonna get for now." Eliza said before pulling you up with her and dragging you. You waved by at the Russians and followed Eliza as she practically dragged you to her room. You get pushed on the bed and she locked the door behind you two. "W-Woah, Eliza. You could've just told me you wanted to cuddle." you said as she snuggled up next to you. "I couldn't wait any longer." she said as she gave you a quick kiss on the lips. You just smiled at her and wrapped your arms around her, taking in her scent as you kissed her forehead. You felt her wrap her legs around you and pulled you in even closer. Man, Eliza LOVED to cuddle. You did too. You didn't complain, you've always wanted to do this type of stuff with her. You felt her warmth spread throughout your body and you could feel your breathing go in sync. You ran your fingers through her hair, smooth and silky. You feel her every breath, her every heartbeat, every pulse. As every second passed, you felt a bridge being constructed between your hearts and minds. This wasn't just the two of you being touchy-feely. This was the two of you being open, comfortable, vulnerable. You loved the intimacy of cuddling, kissing, all that. It was something you've yearned for since the start, and now you've got it.

You made sure you wouldn't waste it.
