Chapter 2 - Victorian High

As my mom is drving me to school, I continuesly text Carlie, asking her where she'll be at when I get there , and what's her first day of school outfit. When we pull up at the school, there are high schoolers everywhere. Some are catching up, others don't need to catch up (since they spent all summer together). As I'm searching around the parking lot, I spot her, my best friend in the whole wide world Ms.Carlie Lynn Young. She's standing with Dennis and his twin sister Denise, when she notices my moms' car pull up. Carlie squeals and kind of skip-runs to my moms' car. Just as I'm getting out my mom says "Have a good day Gwen, and I'll pick you up at 2:30". I tell my mom I will, and I love her, and I get out and run into my bestfriends arms. When Carlie pulls away from the hug , she checks out my outfit. " OMG Gwen you look totally cute, as Carlie was observing me, I did the same to her. I noticed that Carlie was wearing a hot pink dress with rose pink flats , and she had a pink ribbon tied around her very huge pony tail. "Wow you look like you're going to enter in to a pagent" I told Carlie.. " Why thank you, miss Gwenny. I laughed , only my bestfriend calls me Gwenny. As we walk towards the school, Carlie is giving me the scoop on everything. "Ok so Kelsey Hamilton , slept with 3 guys over the summer" said Carlie. uh-huh..... And Veronica Burns...... Eww . I hated Veronica, ever since 3rd grade. She always used to bully me. " but anyway , said Carlie, Veronica and Dwayne broke up twice this summer , but now they're back together." They said they broke up ,because Veronica slept with a guy when she went on vacation " Well I would assume it was because of her and not him, since she's a total slut". "Gwen...Carlie squealed". "You are so bad". "I know " I replied.
