PLAYGROUND [park sunghoon]

the two friends opened the door to the new café, the bell ringing signaling that there's a new customer.

the workers quickly and sweetly greeted them as jake and jia did the same thing. they successfully sat in a two person table as the rest of the tables were already occupied.

"it's so pretty." jia said, mesmerized by the pretty colors and decorations the cafe had.

"we should come here often then." jake suggested, chuckling at the jia's doe eyes. jia looked at jake, surprised. "just the two of us?"

jake nodded. "just the two of us." jia froze at the unexpected words. "two? us?" she couldn't believed she heard those words coming in one sentence from jake.

"what order would you like to have you two lovely doveys?" the waiter appeared out of nowhere as they spoke. jake smiled and looked at the menu in front of him as for jia still froze, trying to process what was happening.

"i would to have matcha crepe with a medium side peach oolong tea." jake said as the waiter was writing in their notepad.

"what about this young girl here?" the waiter said, waiting for jia's turn.

"tiramisu and a small matcha m-milk tea." jia cursed herself out when she made a nervous stammered. the waiter noticed and smile.

"got it!" the waiter brightly replied. before they left, the waiter managed to say. "you two look really good."

jia awkwardly coughed unexpectedly as air decided to mess with her throat as jake just shook his head off.

"we're not dating!" jia told the waiter as they cracked a smirk. "i see.. maybe one day you will." and then the waiter left.
