The spacecraft "Leviathan" drifted closer to Planet-3907E. Alterra had sent a handful of employees to land on the planet and investigate it. One of those employees was Engineer and Exo Suit Specialist; Asher Collins. She was outside of the ship in one of the exo suits, performing maintenance on one of the life pods. Her partner Grant Cohen was in the life pod and watching the screens. "Alright Asher, you're almost done. Just a little more." Grant said in a nervous tone. He didn't like it when Asher went outside in the exosuits, way too many negative outcomes. Asher completed her task as the ship began to go down into the atmosphere. She picked up her radio, speaking into it. "Guys! I'm still out here! Don't land!" After a couple minutes of silence, a voice crackled through the radio. Alarms could be heard in the distance "something went wrong with the engines, both engines exploded! Get into the airlock!" Asher looked around, noticing the bit of debris floating away from the ship. She recognized one of the bits of debris as part of the airlock. She cursed under her breath, she switched channels so she could talk to Grant. "Grant, buckle up and close the hatch!" Asher waited for a few minutes for Grant to be ready to eject. All the other life pods had already been ejected and the exo suit was starting to heat up as The Leviathan speeded towards the planet. "Asher, what about you? Aren't you coming in?" Grant said, his tone sounded even more nervous. Asher sighed, putting a mechanical hand on the clamp keeping the life pod in place. "The airlock is gone. I'm gonna have to stay outside. Don't worry though. The exo suit is heat resistant. I'll be fine.." She said, her tone was oddly calm when inside she was terrified. Grant tried to say something in protest but she silenced him by turning off her radio. Asher pushed the clamp open and the life pod fell from the crashing ship. The hands of the exosuit gripped the life pod as the two fell from through the clouds and towards the ground of the planet. Asher's exo suit sparked and smoke came from the back of the suit. She realized that they were falling way too quickly. She checked how much fuel she had in her thrusters and activated them, slowing them down for the life pod to make a safe landing. Before they hit the ground, She accidentally let go of the pod. That caused her to slightly bounce when she hit the ground and roll backwards into a large rock. The suit was crushed and mangled into pieces, the cockpit still slightly intact. Inside the pod, Grant was sitting there in one of the seats. He was gripping the arm rests. After the shock of the crash had left, he quickly got up. He grabbed a scanner, knowing it will be useful for scanning for injuries. He did a self scan, the results coming up as a couple bruises and scrapes. Grant popped the top of the life pod hatch open and climbed up onto the roof. His environment was strange. The trees and ground seemed like it was drawn with little color. There was a small pond nearby and the water looked like ink. The entire area seemed like a living black and white cartoon. That's when he noticed the mangled exo suit. Grant launched himself off of the roof and onto the ground, sprinting towards the suit. He began shifting through the pieces, calling out for his partner. "Asher!" He cried when he had found the cockpit. Asher was there, her body was slumped back against her seat. Blood dripped from her mouth and flowed pretty heavily from her head. Her eyes were closed but Grant could see her chest moving up and down slowly, which meant that she was still alive. He quickly scanned her, the results coming up as a mild concussion, a minor head wound, possible fractured rib cage, and a bit tongue. Grant carefully unbuckled her and pulled her from the seat, pulling her over to the life pod. He struggled to put her into the life pod cause she was much bigger than him but He eventually managed to get her in. After a couple minutes, Asher was leaned up against the wall. Most of her injuries were treated. Grant sat there, watching her. This trip was gonna be a lot more difficult than he expected.
