"Adelaide, kick him in his throat!"
"I'm trying! He's moving too fast!"
"That's what he's supposed to do, but you're supposed to move faster, dipwad!"
"Thanks, Dad. You're such a great motivator," said Adelaide. Her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Her dad gives a chuckle and says, "I know right! It's a gift and a curse."
"That's a good one, Alpha," says the trainer in between chuckles.
While the trainer was standing still, Adelaide snuck behind him and swung her leg toward his throat. There was a loud crack, but when she looked down to the victim of her powerful kick there was no real damage.
"Dear God! What the hell was that for?" the trainer exclaimed.
"That was for talking smack AND for thinking my dad's so-called "joke" was funny," Adelaide said with a flip of her hair and a quick high-five to her father.
"That's my girl," her dad said with pride.
"I love you too, daddy," she said with pure affection and adoration.
"I love you too, princess," the Alpha stated with the same amount of love, if not more, to his daughter while pulling her into a hug with all the love he could muster.
"Well aren't you two just adorable," said her mother, Niyela, who was walking down the steps with a loving smile on her face.
"Not as adorable as you, love," said her husband, Jacobi, as he hugged her and kissed her on her forehead.
"Uh, yeah. While I just love watching your teenage love fest, I have much more better things to do so...BYE!" Adelaide ran out of the training room and up the stairs into the living room.
Their living room was like any other. It had a 45" plasma screen TV with a mahogany coffee table and a beautiful couch with a loveseat next to it.
She plopped down on the couch, trying to make herself comfortable while flipping through channels. After a couple of hours, Adelaide fell asleep on the couch. Her dad was walking down the steps to get a little snack when he saw her sleeping peacefully. He smiled down at her and lifted her up from the couch to take her into her room. It was going to be a long day for Adelaide because tomorrow was her first day back at school. Her first day of senior year.
