"Stripped to the waist, we fall into the river. Cover your eyes so you don't know the secret--." Her alarm went off signaling the first day back at school.

As a senior.

She sat up as the sun creeped in through the window indicating that morning was here. Adelaide rubbed her eyes lazily while stretching. She out of the bed with as much strength and willpower as she could muster because as far she was concerned school could suck her big toe. She walked towards the bathroom to take a shower and get ready for the day. After her shower, she walked into her closet looking for something to wear for school.

Adelaide was a beautiful girl. She had long, wavy, dirty blonde hair that was dip-dyed at the ends hot pink like Demi Lovato. She stands at 5'5" with long, slender legs and curves that are to die for. She had hyponitizing green eyes with specks of purple. Her lips and butt were every man's dream. Overall, she had the looks of a goddess.

After about a good twenty minutes of unsuccessful outfit searching, she settled on a white, lace, zip-up bandeau that ascentuated her chest just right with a lavender skirt that flared out along her thighs and some peep-toe wedged heels that made her legs longer than thought possible.

For her makeup, she wore light eyeshadow that matched her skin tone, neutral eueliner and black mascara. She applied strawberry-flavored lip gloss to her naturally plump lips and placed her long hair into a now straightened mid-ponytail with a lavender bow to top it all off.

She checked the time which was 8:15 so she decided to go downstairs and eat some breakfast. When she hit the bottom of the staircase, her appetite immediately vanished as she stared in pure disgust at her parents making out in the middle of the kitchen.

"OH MY GOSH! MOM AND DAD! REALLY?!" Adelaide screamed in pure horror.

"Oh! We're sorry, honey. It's just--"

"I don't want to know."

Her mother gave a slight giggle, "Are you hungry?"

"Yes ma'am I am!"

"Alrighty, here you go," her mom said as she slid a plate to her daughter that consisted of four pieces of bacon, cheese eggs, and waffles smothered with strawberries, strawberry-flavored syrup and whipped cream.

"For a girl so tiny you eat more than I do.....and I'm an alpha," her dad said in amazement and amusement.

"Well, daddy I have huge appetite with an awesome metabolism," Adelaide bragged.

"Whatever, goofball. Go to school."

"Yeah, yeah. I'm going. Sometimes I think you guys want me to leave just so you can continue what I interrupted," she inquired to her parents.

"You are such a smart girl. Now go so I can give your mother that alpha loving," her dad mumbled as he was kissing down his wife's neck.

"I have now been officially scarred for life."

"Good. Now leave," her mother said forcefully.

"Alright! Bye! Love you!"

"Yeah, whatever."

Adelaide hopped out of her car and breathed in the fresh air of Mystic View High School. Out of the corner of her eye she saw her bestfriend, Tamsin, run towards her with a huge grin on her face.

"Laidey!!"

Adelaide chuckled while reaching to hug her bestfriend, "Hey Tamsin!"

"How was your summer?" asked Tamsin.

"It was filled with wonderful training and the occasional "parent make-out scene."

"Oh my gosh! Are you serious? Dude, your parents are more in love than most teenagers."

"Tell me about it. The image is still imprinted in my head."

"Hey, but I see that you still have your sense of fashion because you look fabulous!"

Adelaide flips her hair and gives a little twirl. "Well, you know how I do."

Tamsin giggles and says, "What's your first period?"

"Umm, World History. What about you?"

"Same thing! At least now I know that this class won't be full boring."

"I know right! C'mon."

The two girls walked down the hallway as they were met by hungry stares from boys and jealous, envious glares from girls. They approached the classroom and walked to two empty seats of their choice. As they were about to sit down, Adelaide was hit by the most intoxicating scent she as ever smelled in her life. The scent was a mixture of musk and vanilla. She searched the classroom to find the drug she wanted more of. As she finally reached the front of the class, the world stopped.

At the door, was the sexiest boy alive. His hair is in a perfect, black faux hawk that she just wants to run her fingers through. His eyes are the most beautiful green that she could get lost in for days. She wants to trail her hands down his perfectly defined chest that is noticable through his white v-neck. He was also wearing dark wash jeans, red Converse, and a silver dog tag. She was so infatuated with his looks that she didn't notice him walking towards her.

"I'm Chandler."

"Adelaide."

"Adelaide," Chandler repeated almost as if he just loved the sound of her name.

Adelaide almost moaned at the sound of her name on his tongue. The way it rolled off so smoothly and delicately.

Chandler's eyes turned pitch black as he leaned down and whispered huskily in Adelaide's ear the one word that she's been waiting to hear her whole life.

"Mate."
