1, Run and Hide

He ran. Ran as fast as his legs would carry him. Ran as fast as he possibly could. He HAD to get away. His lungs burned and his legs grew more and more numb the farther away from the hotel he got. The only thing that kept him going was the fear that his pursuer would find him. His face felt like it was on fire from all the tears entering the cuts on his cheek. The cuts and bruises on his body left by Johnathan(Schlatt) and Alex made it hard to breathe.

He never expected that this would be how things turned out when the DreamSMP all met up in Florida. He always knew him and Alex would go together, they were a couple after all (Alex is tall in this-). Although, what Nick didn't expect was that Schlatt was going to brainwash and manipulate Alex. Get the boy drunk, and make Alex hit Nick, but of course, Schlatt had his ways. He could get anyone wrapped around his little finger.

Once Nick felt safe enough to stop, he ducked into an alleyway and collapsed onto his back. Gasping and sweating intensely. He laid on the ground until he had the strength to drag his body to the brick wall as he let out a pain filled and broken sob. The cries and pain from his legs and chest caused his body to shake rapidly.

In his mind, he had secretly hoped that no one would come looking for him, but he knew in the back of his head that Alex would make up some sob story and everyone would come to look for him. For the night, he decided that he was too sore and tired to walk however far away he was from the hotel. His eyelids has grown uncontrollably heavy, and his body had stopped shaking temporarily as he slipped off to sleep.

A/N: I hope you enjoyed the first part of my story! I was sitting in class the other day and this is what I came up with to write. I know it seems very sad but I promise that it will get better for nick in the future chapters! See you in the next one!
