The Chemistry Between Them

Alex POV:

I'm stupid.

Absolutely stupid.

I've pissed him off when I JUST met him, that didn't go according to my thoughts at all.

But he is 5'3...how cute.

As our free time continues I notice he must have made friends with Tyler, interesting, they must have another class together for him to be talking to him like that.

But that's just Ty, he is a chatty social butterfly. Also on the soccer team with me, he is a pretty good player as well..god I wish I was him right now.

"Hey" someone says sitting next to me, as I close my eyes in annoyance.

"What now?" I says looking at no surprise... Daisy.

"Wanna eat lunch together?" she smiles as I grimace a little, "I'll pass" I say and she pouts. "Why not Alex?" she says 

"Because I don't have to"

"But Alex..." she whines, and I groan "Jeez can you not speak English? No is no" I say as she huffs.

"Fine. I'll ask the new kid then, he would probably wanna sit with me then" she says getting up and I pause for a moment.

'I can't let her sit with Noah, I wanna do that'

Noah POV:

"Hey new kid" I hear someone say and I turn around seeing the girl from earlier..Daisy was it?

Don't care anyways.

"Hi?" I say confused "Wanna sit with me at lunch today?" she says pulling up a chair and sitting in between me and Tyler as he rolls his eyes as her. 

"No he doesn't, he is sitting with me." he says  "I'll sit with you both then" she says. 

'Rude much?'

"Whoa whoa you cant just invite yourself , who do you think you are?" he says "I just did, there isn't a problem with that" she says "Yes there is are you actually dumb?" he says chuckling.

Daisy rolls her eyes. "Can you shut up for two seconds, I'm trying to talk to the new kid here" she says.

I sigh a little, annoyed with her already "You can sit wherever you like, I'm sitting with Tyler" I say "Whatever" she sighs going away to her friends and Tyler chuckles at her walking away "She is the literal daughter of hell" he says and I grin a little at his comment thinking its true a bit.

Once the Lunch bell has rung the class disperses to go to eat lunch and I carry my lunch as I walk with Tyler to the cafeteria seeing some students looking at me as I walk by. 

'Do they not know how rude it is to stare?'

As we enter the cafeteria ,Tyler leads us to a empty table. "I usually sit with my teammates or other people but they will understand for today" he chuckles sitting in front of me "What do you play?" I ask

"Soccer" he says "Oh" I say "That sounds tiring"

"Nah" he shakes his head "It builds a lot of core and leg muscle" he says and I nod as we converse about some random things.

"I'm going to get in line for lunch, i'll be back" he says and I nod understanding.

Alex POV:

I have to find a way to make sure he doesn't get the wrong idea.

Thank god we have the same class and lunch so I can make it up to him, once I see him he is with Tyler and I sigh wanting to talk to him alone for a bit. After about five long minutes he leaves to get his lunch.
