Ok she's still a little pissed at me...
"Is...is that mine?" I asked and she looked angrier than I'd ever seen her before.
Bad choice of words I guess.
"That? THAT? Did you really call my child THAT?" She said before swinging at me again. Again I don't move out of the way. I deserve it. She deserves to hurt me. It still won't be anywhere never the pain I caused her.
"Kay, please calm down...for the baby" Asher James said from next to his grandparents.
At the mention of her-our baby she placed her hands on her stomach. That seemed to calm her down enough to talk again.
"You all knew he was coming here and kept it from me? Why?" She asked looking around at her family
"We just wanted to protect you" Eloise said.
"Pfft...still protecting her from me?" I said to her. She narrowed her eyes at me then looked at Lynn
"Why would she be protecting me from you?" She asked looking at me.
"You'll have to ask her that. Shes's the one wh-"
"That's enough! I want him out of my home now!" She yelled.
"Nonna...tell me what's going on." KarriLynn pleaded but Eloise remained silent so she turned to me to.
"Tell me the truth..."
"That day I left...that morning I should say...Your grandmother was waiting for me in my office."
"Why?"
"She knew we were dating and wanted me to leave you."
"And you fucking listened? Why?"
"She knew something that I didn't want you to know. So she blackmailed me to stay away. Said I had until the end of the day to tell you or she'd tell you herself. She knew it was something I was already afraid to talk to you about."
"Then tell me now. If I meant anything to you stop lying to me and tell me the truth"
"That trip I took back home to Russia. I found out some things that I wasn't sure how to explain."
"You mean the "historical facts" you were talking about?"
