I wanted to let JK know that I'm starting to hate him

I wanted to let JK know that I'm starting to hate him. But according to our code of ethics, doing that is prohibited, regardless of who they are, we must show fondness to their being (not their doings, that's completely a different topic). We're not even allowed to entertain ill thoughts inside our heads.

Why am I on the verge of hating him?

Simple.

He's making me lose my job and I can't afford that. I've been doing this perfectly for the last twenty-three years. Now, I'm slowly failing at keeping Willow in her right mind.

Just imagine how I reacted when JK told her to watch impure videos. I was eager to convince her that that's not an answer to boredom. Picture how shocked I was when she chose to listen to the devil's whispers. I literally had to turn around and cover my ears for minutes while Willow entertains herself with... that.

Of course, angels are knowledgeable about sex. But not this way. We were thought that the only purpose of sex is to procreate and not for the entertainment or the mere pleasure of an individual. I made sure I didn't get a glimpse of it or else, I'll earn a lecture from the heavens.

After a long day, Willow went to sleep and as for JK and me, we do not sleep. We do rest by closing our eyes but we never go deep in slumber. The higher-ups thought we wouldn't need sleep when we actually could get some. We're not physically exhausted but our minds might need a break for at least a couple of minutes and they won't even grant that to us.

Well, who am I to demand such stuff?

"Are you going to the beach?" I gently tapped his shoulders. Shortly, I checked the finger that I used and saw how it was painted with dark dust. I casually wiped it off and stared at him.

"Depends. Are you going?" he asked back and I frowned.

"Nope," I briefly answered.

"Why?" his eyebrows made a straight line.

"Well, it's boring me out. There's nothing new," I shrugged. "So, are you going out?"

"No," he deadpanned and returned to the comics that he is currently reading.

Internally, I rejoiced with his answer by raising a fist in the air. "Okay, since we're both staying here, can I ask you few questions? Just a few I promise," I pleaded with my hands clasped together in front.

"What made you think I'll say yes to that?" he sighed.

"Seeing how you accompanied me to the beach the other day and approached me first on Willow's birthday, there's a huge possibility that you'll say yes because I find you amiable," I explained.

"Amiable? Pft," he rolled his eyes and ignored me again. "You're delirious," he added.

"Well, to make it more precise, out of all Willow's shadows you're the most approachable. I'm not lying!" I drew a cross over my heart. "You know how we're not allowed to lie," I convinced.
