After the bombing of the school that was led by Alexander Yves' family, the school was wrecked, and many artifacts and paintings were gone. Especially ones with great value.

Alexander decided that he can try to make it up for the mistakes of his family, luckily, his family never thought this day would come so they gave him their current location.

He kept walking back and forth, hesitating. Maybe this isn't the right thing to do, they're my family. No, they have hurt a lot of people for their greed, this is the right thing to do. He quickly grabbed his phone and hurriedly dialed 911 before he could change his mind.

"911, what's your emergency?" asked the operator on the other side.

"It's about the bombers of the Caddel Academy bombing" Xander paused for a moment, "I have their locations."

"You bastard! How could you do this to us?! We're your family!" Matthew, his father was screaming at him while being handcuffed by a police officer.

"Maybe I'm the one that should ask that to you, how could you? Many people died and got hurt, the school has been ruined. All because of your greed. All that for money. " He glared at his father, "Rot in jail," Xander muttered, he bit his tongue to prevent saying things he will regret. Alexander forced himself to turn around and walk back to his car, hoping it would be the last time he would see them.

"Yves!" Someone called from behind him.

"Professor." He nodded, greeting his teacher.

"Are you here to help?" She raised her eyebrow.

"Yes, Ma'am." Xander smiled nervously, "If you would allow it of course." His professor only nodded in response.

"I've heard about what you did, that was brave. I don't expect it to be easy but you did it nonetheless. You did the right thing, Yves." She gave him a pat on the back, " How are you holding up?"

"I'm good, I feel at ease. My father along with the rest of my family is in jail for God knows how long, but they deserve it."

"Ah... Oh, also, the stolen paintings and artifacts will be here soon. The authorities already retrieved it."

Alexander only nodded as a response.

"Anyways, How can I help, Professor?"

"Let me see," She looked around before smiling "Ah, why don't you help Ms. Laurent hang the paintings that are already here." She grinned at him before walking away.

Alexander pursed his lips. He never had the courage to talk to Aleoreese after the bombing, she was one of the people that got hurt, and he figured she would hate him after that.

He dragged himself towards his old friend.

"Hey." Alexander approached her, she looked confused but smiled nonetheless.

"Hello, Yves. What's up?" She said, casually. Yves? Ouch.

"Professor assigned me to help you hang the paintings," He said, looking at everywhere but the person in front of him. He felt guilty for some reason.

"Well, we should get started." It's as if she was trying to finish the job to avoid him.

"I should have protected you, you should have been my priority but being the coward I am, I ran and saved myself. I'm sorry, Reese."

"What's done is done, it's in the past, Xander. And just like everything in the past, we should leave it where it belongs." She smiled

"Is it okay if we start over again? As friends." He inquired, nervously
