"Oh um uh nothing" he gave her a sweet smile, looking back up at the sky. "Oh ok" she smiled, leaning on his shoulder.

Once the three got home morria fell fast asleep. "Mom im so bad at this" sam said, sitting next to his mom on the couch. "What do you mean?" His moms gaze on her book never leaving. "I've been trying to tell her my feelings but she either doesn't hear me or is sleeping" he sighed, laying on the couch. "Aww sam, dont worry."
"What if im just not supposed to ask her"
"Dont give up. You are meant to ask her and she will say yes. I just know it. Ask her tomorrow at new years"

When morria woke up she didn't feel the comfort of sam next to her like she did the previous morning. "Sam?" She sat up confused. "Im in the kitchen with mom!" He yelled up the stairs. She smiled as she groggily waddled down the stairs. "Good morning sunshine" sam smiled, looking up from the eggs he was cooking. "That smells so good" she smiled. She looked over to his mom to see her cooking bacon. "We don't usually make breakfast but its new years and your here so" sams mom smiled. "No momma its ok you didn't have to do that" morria smiled, she was extremely grateful. "We wanted to sweetie. We enjoy you being here" she smiled and sat at the table.

"Breakfast is done" sam sat a plate infront of morria. "Thanks sammy" she smiled sweetly, taking a bite of her food. She hummed lightly as she enjoyed her food. "This is really good momma, thank you. You too sam" morria gave them both sweet smiles, causing butterfly to erupt in sams stomach.

"What do you usually do for new years eve morria?" Sams mom asked. "I usually go to clays house since I'm always at nicks during Christmas. We stay on a discord call with nick until new years is over then the boys usually watch po- p-paw patrol. Yea the boys and I usually watch paw patrol after new years" She stumbled on her words, causing sam to burst into laughter.

"Paw patrol?" She asked confused. "Y-yup. F-for the meme" morria covered her face in embarrassment. Sam was practically rolling on the ground in tears laughing so hard.
