little sarah had been gearing up to start school.mommy had bought her a fancy school bag and her new pair of shoes.

She had her bubbles and ribbon to match her uniform. She had visited the school once. Her friend zoe would be going there too.

She had noticed that the play ground had many different areas there was a swing area,a slide,a monkey bar and a sand box.

She would dream every night of playing on that play ground with her friend zoe.

lately she had been hearing a new word everyone was using.this word was covid-19. the next new word was corona.
Now everyone was dressing weirdly.they were covering their faces, with what they called a mask.

She would hear on the news that everyone should wash their hands often and stay home.

stay home she thought.why would they say that.It was soon time for her to start school.she wanted to know what was really happening,so she went to mommy to get the answers.

Mommy had told her that there was a virus going around that was going around that would make persons very sick and could even kill you.

Mom said we had to wear a mask to help protect ourselves and wash our hands often.
Use our sanitizers and stay away from crowded places.

She went to her room thinking.mom had also said that schools were closed. What??? no school.how could they close school, how would she play in her school play ground.

She had hoped to show zoe her new bag and shoes. What about zoe did she know about the virus. .

Sarah asked mommy if she could go and visit Zoe,,but mommy had said she could no because of the virus. How could she and zoe play. She was now feeling sad everything has now changed, she could no longer go to school for now or go to her friends house to play.

Sarah sat in her room thinking  what was really happening.would she go back to school. Would she play with her friends again.

Sha opened her wallrobe and looked  at her uniform would she get to wear it again.

The big question was would the world go back to being normal,???
