as i watch you walk away i scream after you
i scream and scream but you can't hear me
as you disappear the sky around me turns black
i start running running to where you are because that is where the light is
i try to find you but your gone
i keep on running not willing to stop
the darkness is surrounding me
i keep hearing your voice over and over
saying 'you're not good enough' 'i'm so ashamed' 'you'll never do anything right' 'you're a mistake'
tears begin to stream down my face
the darkness now embraces me
i scream your name again
the silence is more than i can bear
i fall to the ground
my spirit crushed at the thought of being forgotten
